I looked at the edible art and didn’t think it was worth the money. When I saw the rings and the Star sugar decor, I figured I could incorporate them onto the cookie, and they looked phenomenal if you look at the pictures with this review. Since I just wanted the stars and not the gold star dust sugar that came with them, I just used a small colander and sifted the sugar out and put it back in the bag to be used for another project. I used the stars on the cookies to look like Mario and Luigi powering up. The stars were the perfect color, and just the right size to decorate the cookies with. The best part? EVERYTHING you see on the cookie plate came from desertcart, including the cookies and the chocolate coating! I made the mushrooms and boo the ghosts out of fondant, and colored each one with small amounts of food coloring. I added a few of the small stars to make the mushroom more magical looking. I haven't used them on icings/frosting yet. **Q: Are these soft ?** A: Well some are hard while some are softer. I didn't care for this mix because of those big round pieces. Those will break a tooth! I literally picked them out. I didn't care for the pale colors either. I found other sprinkles that were more pop in the color as well as taste good. These have a good taste but there's better. If you care enough about all that for just sprinkles. I do. I want my sprinkles to taste good and not be picked off or frowned upon my customers. Sorry if youve already purchased. They are ok...good enough...kids love them and they are cool... **Q: how many carbs are in these sprinkles?** A: Sounds like you have a type one kiddo in your life. I purchased multiple types of sprinkles at the same time as these. The packaging is long gone and if I remember correctly, some didn't have nutritional information. I looked up other sprinkles. A serving is one teaspoon and that contains between 3 and 5 carbs.
