I've been able to produce beautifully poached eggs with a runny yolk, just as I like it. The instructions are easy and you should follow them explicitly. Put 1/2 teaspoon water in each cup, break in the egg, pierce the yolks and whites with a toothpick, center the yolk, put another 1/2 tsp water on top. You can add a teaspoon of butter on top of the eggs if you want more of a shirred result. The cooking time will vary depending on your microwave and how done you like your eggs.
