They do not sit snug but have a small retaining ring that keeps the bulbs in place. They don't move or fall out so no worries there. I have installed in plaster and drywall and the spring clips hold tight. I will buy more when the time comes.

Great little fixtures. I am using 3 watt rgb MR16 bulbs in them. They have a pivoting gimbal that the lights sit in. They do not sit snug but have a small retaining ring that keeps the bulbs in place. They don't move or fall out so no worries there. I have installed in plaster and drywall and the spring clips hold tight. I will buy more when the time comes.

Looking at the previous mostly positive reviews, I am not sure if the quality of this product went down. At this time of review end of March 2022 this is very flimsy product. When I pulled back the spring to install these the side wall bends. It is not worth the $43 price point.
