ATV Trunk & Lounger

After much searching, I settled on this box for my '03 Honda Rincon. It bolted on without issue and seems to be well made and is comfortable to rest against. Acres of room inside. Edit, a few months later: When I purchased this I had my doubts about its ruggedness. No longer. During a tricky maneuver on a steep, rocky, uphill trail ride, I had to throw away the ATV or have it roll on me. The Mighty Rincon rolled sideways, performing 6 barrel rolls before coming to a stop. Between the Kolpin box (which was full of stuff and didn't open at all) and the cooler that was strapped to the front rack, there was no damage to the ATV with the exception of a few battle scars. We got over the rockfield and continued on our way with zero issues. One corner of the back rack that the Kolpin was mounted on suffered a quarter inch deflection which caused the box to not close squarely, but a minute or two with a spud bar straightened the rack - and the issue. Again, other than some scratches on the box, it took it all in stride and protected the ATV from serious damage. If you're hesitant and thinking the box isn't strong, don't. It is. Buy it.

It was easy to install and is comfortable for the passenger. It has a lot of storage as well. I have used it for an elk hunt with a passenger and held up fine. I installed mine on a 2020 Honda Foreman Rubicon.

Its great for storage which is what I primarily bought it for. Its big and has several tie downs on top. The seat leaves something to be desired if you want it for that. The back of it doesn't go up very high and kind of cuts in to anyone who leans back on it. Ill put my daughter on the back sometimes going to the deer stand. It works ok for shorter trips but I would find something else for longer trips. Even for me just to scoot and sit back to relax on it isnt very relaxing due to the seat height and angle. I would buy it again though.

Great product! Really straightforward install. Took about 20min and fits great on my Cforce 500. My only critique is that the seat will slant forward if you don’t support it with something underneath. That’s really a CForce issue but nonetheless I created a DIY PAD using an old folded towel, some black vinyl tape and two large zip ties. Came out great.

perfect for my son to ride on the back of the four wheeler with me. I used four straps to secure it to the rear rack. Enough storage for straps and helmets inside. I was skeptical because it was plastic, but I'm very happy. I bought it.

I own two of these. The price is amazing 😍 for what you get. They are absolutely fantastic boxes. It's also an excellent way to tote kids around. No complaints. Top notch. Takes me about 30 minutes to install. One is on a Yamaha Grizzly 700 and the other is on a CFORCE 400s. On the C force the rack isn't flush with the seat and holds it up a couple inches. I had to fabricate a small pad to level the seat cushion. No fault of the box or Koplin. I included photos of the spacer pad I made for the CForce 400s

Awesome back rest and storage for my ATV. I can fit yard tools when working in the yard as well as can fit cooler, towels, clothes, tools for a day trip on the trails. Love the ease of use. Love the heavy duty rubber closures and I put a lock when I need items secured

⚠️ Buyer Beware – shipping alone can cost more than the actual unit if it doesn’t fit your ATV. I purchased this carrier with high hopes that it would work with my 2025 TRX700 Rubicon. Unfortunately, that was a complete letdown. The fitment is nowhere close to aligning with the racks, and the plastic feels thin and flimsy. Even if you forced it on, I wouldn’t trust it to hold any real weight. Right out of the box, I set it on my machine and instantly knew it wasn’t going to work. I reached out to the seller for a return and initially thought things were fine—until I was hit with the shock: return shipping was quoted at $1,000. After some back and forth, the seller said they could “work something out,” which still ended up being $310 in return costs. And this was all over a $200 carrier box. At this point, I wish I’d just kept my $200. Now I’m stuck with a bulky, useless ATV carrier that doesn’t fit, can’t be used, and isn’t worth the hassle. If you’re looking for a reliable solution, I’d definitely shop elsewhere for something more durable and specifically designed for your machine. Save yourself the time, frustration, and wasted money.

I have owned a number of Quads in the past and they all had rear passenger seats added , I would recommend KOLPIN MOD # 4457 above all the rest for durability and the best layout of all. Neville Els
