The only place you need a bottle opener when installing drywall is if you are a drunk. **Q: Is this a foot lift?** A: Its commonly known as a "kicker" Its used for hanging doors and the bottom row of sheetrock. **Q: does it lift furniture to put a slider under?** A: It is possible. It probably doesn't have enough lift, By this I mean about three inches is the maximum lift. this is just a guess. **Q: Does it have enough room on the lifter to place a door on top of it for door installation and would the lifter be strong enough support door weight?** A: Yes, it could handle the weight of a steel door and there is enough room for the door.
