They have a little stretch, but as the fit is very generous that hardly matters. The material is soft and lightweight and is great for summer wear or if you work in a hot office like I do. Thankfully, they are not see-through. They are as flattering as they can be given that they are wrapped around my oversized frame. This is the sixth pair of these I’ve bought. I would’ve bought more, except the five that I bought 10 years ago are still in action. I’ve worn and washed them once a week for that 10 years. I’ve worn them 500 times and I’m still wearing them. One of them is now starting to tear a little around the pocket. These are outstanding. I may never buy another pair of pants except for blue jeans.
