It is not going to be satire, as so many people seem to think is hilarious here. I'm not going to make fun of you for wanting a chicken diaper.We had a chicken get mauled by an animal. These are egg layers, and mostly like pets to the kids. This particular chicken belongs to the five year old. We could not tell her that the chicken was going to be delicious, so I doctored her. While she was healing, we had to keep her separated from the other chickens (as they will peck at wounds or dressings compulsively) and we had her in a large box in the house. After about a day when she came out of shock and got feisty, it was evident that we weren't going to be able to keep her in there all the time.So it was chicken diaper time. This diaper is a neat idea, and the best one we found on the market. That said, it has lots of room for improvement. It needs to be larger in the back, so that if it slips around there are no accidents. The lack of instructions was daunting, and it wouldn't have taken much for the people to type up a little pamphlet with sketches. But if you need one for whatever reason, this is the model I'd recommend.As an end note, for those of you looking for a chicken diaper for whatever reason, and who are reading all the satirical reviews and are feeling bad about the whole thing, let me give you a short list from my brain about legitimate reasons to need a chicken diaper:1. Our reason. Injury and flock separation with no separate place in the coop available.2. Spiders. You are deathly afraid and you know there are icky things beneath, say, your stairs. Good chicken. Eat them all.3. Snakes. You are deathly afraid of snakes and one got in your basement. Enjoy as your chicken naturally removes it from your home.4. Kids. You have kids. Your kids want your chickens to be pets. You don't want to be a mean mom. Easy enough.If nothing else, I hope this helps some of you who are feeling daunted by the mean people who are making fun. One, I was under the impression that you got three diapers like what is shown. Second, it comes with no instructions on how to put it on. It did arrive very quickly, however. As for the diaper function itself, it is very poor. It needs a strap to cross over the back of the chicken, holding the two shoulder straps together so that they do not slip off. After I solved that problem using a hair clip, it stayed put but the poop pouch is not large enough. ### ⭐⭐⭐ And easy to put on *by H***T on Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2017* Difficult to put on. Have not been able to use it. The home Mae sock ones with pads worked perfectly. And easy to put on. I wish these had been with th cost.
