In Southern California** A: Because it is firearm related and california has many restrictions for firearms themselves and also accessories. Stop voting for someone that works against you **Q: will this go on a pic rail?** A: No, this will not fit standard a standard 1913 pic rail or weaver mount out of the box and don’t listen to anyone that says it does, they obviously don’t own one. It uses a proprietary picatinny style attachment system because it uses an enclosed emitter. What you see in the picture is how it comes in the box. A standard picatinny or weaver rail is to thick to fit it’s tiny picatinny style mounting system. It comes with a Glock MOS mounting plate in the box. You obviously can’t put screws through it like a Holosun 508 or trijicon RMR, that’s why it uses a proprietary mounting system. There are however mounts available that will allow you to mount it to a 1913 rail. Hope this helps. **Q: Will this mount on an fnx-45 tactical?** A: It works with the rmr plate that came with your fnx 45t and the adapter plate that comes with the optic. However, having to use both plates does make the optic sit too high to cowitness even with the suppressor height sites **Q: Will this work better for a person with a Astigmatism?** A: Maybe, depends on how bad your astigmatism is and how you use it. For me, with the “circle-dot” display, I find it works fine for fast target acquisition and I don’t notice the “starburst” effect. I use these (508t, 509t, & the larger 510) exclusively on my multi-gun competition platforms. Everything is fast and you are looking through the reticle more than “at” the reticle. However, the more I have to focus on the reticle or the more precise my sighting has to be, the more I notice the “starburst” effect. My stigmatism isn’t terrible. My glasses do a pretty good job correcting.
