We primarily got these to safely drink hot liquids around our very squirmy newborn son. My husband loves this one, and uses it exclusively. I find it a bit unwieldy, and always get my nose wet when trying to drink from it. I've found out the straw lids can be used with hot drinks as well, and I find that does a better job of keeping the liquid inside and my face dry ;).
