There were a number of factors as to why I felt compelled to give this product such a rave review. I list my criteria below:1. Is it a slim / sleek case?2. Protection - how well does the case keep my phone from sustaining damage from drops etc3. Feel/ergonimics - how does it feel to hold? Is it too slippery for instance?4. Weight - does it add undue weight to the device, countering the design of the iPhone?5. Aesthetics - how does it look? Enhance the cool look of the iPhone or hide it?1. Slim case - I wanted to add protection to my phone but NOT add crazy bulk or size to it. Apple designed such a cool phone, my aim was to find a case that doesn't defeat the slim minimalistic design of the iPhone. Well, this case definitely delivers here, case is very sleek. I find it is on par with a Tech21 case in terms of slimness, even rivaling the Speck "Candy shell Grip" case, both of which I've used previously. Amazing because both these other two cases I mention also offer massive protection in a slim little case, the UAG feels slighter slimmer than the Speck and about same as Tech21. Winner UAG.2. Protection - this thing is miltary grade. Meaning drop tested from 4 feet numerous times with no damage. The corners have added bulk, protecting the most vulnerable areas as well for fall damage. Plus there is a raised lip which keeps your screen elevated off any surface should you lay your phone screen side down. There are also anti slip traction on the four corners which keep it elevated off surfaces when laying backside down and prevents it from sliding around on surfaces (such as car dashboards). Then there is the strength adding feature of the honey comb design. Feel this case is somewhat the equivalent of a volvo in terms of crash test safety, if you want a car analogy... All without being bulky!3. Feel/ergonomics - I have been on the hunt for a slim case that wasn't slippery... I LOVE being able to use the iPhone one-handed, but so many slim cases were just too dang slippery for my taste (example Moshi). I previously used the Speck candy shell grip case, which from a tactile standpoint was freaking great because it was so grippy and anti-slippery. This case is right there and on par with the Speck case in terms of anti-slippage. There are ridges on the sides which prevent slippage, plus the subtle size increase around the corners really lets you use your pinky to cradle the phone for stable one handed use. This is a big plus especially considering the size of the iPhone 6 plus, which is inherently easy to drop due to size of the phone. This UAG definitely minimizes the slippage problem and enables me to use one-handed without fear of droppage. So many other case have just felt way too slippery for my taste. Additionally, the phone just feels "good" when I hold it in this case; because this case varies in size along the sides; going to a minimum on areas where there aren't any anti slip ridges. Because of this, the phone feels so super "skinny/slim/sleek" while holding it in this case. I don't have overly large hands and yet I feel uber comfortable holding this and using one handed and all the more so using both hands. If you're looking for a slim case that minimizes slippage enabling easy care free one handed use, this is the case for you. Even if you have small hands....4. Weight - I don't know how they did it, but they crammed all that protection in a slim and crazy light weight case. I feel like this case weighs next to nothing....5. Aesthetics. Looks I know can be highly subjective and variable assessments on this criterria person to person. Me personally, i find this case to be straight up bad ass looking!!!! It just looks stinking cool on my phone!!!! Nuff said? I love how the apple logo is still viewable on the back, but in a subtle way. The see thru nature of the back material displays the honeycomb structure, adding yet another cool effect. I have the space grey iPhone. Comined with the Ash UAG case, higlights the colors of the phone on the sides and back. Lastly I love that the front facing surface of the case is all black. In my humble opinion, all black around the screen looks clean, polished and professional...Put all 5 criteria together and voila, you've got yourself one sweet and yet bad ass looking case!!! The cases are about as durable as anything that I've ever seen, and they are extremely comfortable in my hands.
