The whole cube is a little looser than I'd like. I wonder if I could tighten the screws a little to make the whole thing tighter?

It's a twisty puzzle, a smaller Rubik's cube. No there is no flipping only twisting. If you are looking for the cube that folds out and back up on the opposite side I have seen them from services that makes custom items with your pictures.
