I would consider this a standard designed hat. As someone else has mentioned, the contrast in colors are not as pronounced in person as they are in the picture. In person the shades of green are much closer. I've been wearing this hat for two weeks or so. One thing that I can say for sure is that it is very comfortable. The tactical hats that I have worn to work overseas before have seemed more rugged and durable but they were not near as comfortable. I have not seen the first sign of durability issue on this cap so the others may only seem more durable because they are uncomfortable. This is the first tactical cap with the mesh backing that I have owned. It is light and cool as would be expected. I have short hair and in regular caps with this mesh style I have had my spike out of the mesh holes and make me look ridiculous. No such problem with this one. I gave this cap five stars because I believe you will get every bit of what you pay for. When I first put the hat on began molding the bill I was not impressed with the rigidness of it. The bill seems a little week and flimsy. After a couple weeks of wearing it daily though, I don't think the bill will be a problem. The fit is great, and being adjustable that really shouldn't be an issue for many. The quality is right about what you would expect in this price range, maybe a little above. Just a couple of stray threads a little misalignment of where the top meets the bill. Very minor and will not be noticeable to many.I really like that this hat doesn't have the stiff forehead area that gives the trucker appearance. Instead it contours more to your actual head and remains low profile.
