I dug into it right away. I was diagnosed with Lipedema in February 2017. My whole life changed. Although I always knew something was wrong, after going to MANY doctors my whole life, and coming out defeated, ridiculed for not trying hard enough, and still no answers to my problems, this book right here gives us the answers. Kathleen has put much research and compiling information into her book. I have written notes and underlined all pertinent information concerning my condition, this way, I can take it along with me to doctors appointments just in case I have to deal with a doctor that is clueless to Lipedema. The way the book is designed makes that easy to do. Each page has about a 1/2" or 3/4" margin on the sides handy for writing notes. I suppose this was in order to make the book, well, book length. I feel like I was reading something that used to be a pamphlet for the author’s clients or maybe information on her website. There were lots of links that of course you can’t click on because, duh, this is a print book.All in all, I’ve gotten far more information online than I did from this expensive book.
