## Description

Aang, the much-loved hero of Nickelodeon’s hit animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender, takes readers on an exciting and interactive journey through his thrilling world. Earth. Air. Fire. Water. These are the four nations that lived in harmony until the Fire Nation attacked. For the next hundred years, war raged across the globe. It was believed that all inhabitants from the Air Nation had perished. Then, a girl and her brother discovered a twelve-year-old boy frozen in an iceberg. His name: Aang. He is the Avatar, the master of all four elements. Together Aang and his friends went on to save the world! Now a man, Aang looks back on these adventurous years—from being found in the ice to fighting epic battles to negotiating peace. This is Aang’s story, his mementos, and keepsakes. Avatar: The Last Airbender: Legacy is the collection that Aang passes down to his son Tenzin, who will one day be a master Airbender, too. Readers will relish Aang’s heroic tales and the posters, clippings, cards, and maps he gathered along the way! Review: Simply put, one of the greatest books for a fanbase. - I love this book with all my heart. I watched Avatar as it aired live on Nick from 2005 to 2008. When it came to Netflix in 2020, I watched the series and The Legend of Korra again. And later in 2020, I got the 10th-anniversary blu-ray steelbook collection. And even later, I got myself this book. This book was a surprise and took me back to the series that I just watched. It features a lot of throwbacks to the series and made me smile with every page I turned. It has a ton of poster collectibles that are STRAIGHT from the series. It even features sneak-peaks to the future and little blurps from after the show ended, which was a great surprise. At 29.99 (plus tax), this was a great buy and it being hardcover only was a great choice to last long. If you're an Avatar fan. You'd be a FOOL not to get this book. It's a great read and will make the hardest of hardcore fans look twice.
Review: It is what it says it is. - I don't really understand the negative reviews. The description just above tells that this book is Aang telling about his adventures with his friends and (gasp!) those adventures we already know because we watched the show. I actually really liked this book, because I loved the little "mementos" it came with. As someone who watched the show and is a huge fan, having physical things from the world of Avatar is awesome. There are silly things included, like a poster advertising The Ember Island Players telling of "The Boy In The Iceberg" (which was a great episode by the way). And there are neat things included like Katara's water scroll (not an actual scroll but a flat image of the water bending techniques that were on it). While I would say that the price tag of ~$25 is a bit much, I did only pay $12 thanks to desertcart's lowest price guarantee on preorders so I think it was well worth it. So in summation, the book is nothing new about the world but the neat posters and other little keepsakes of Aang's is almost heartwarming. If you like Avatar a lot and think physical items from the world would be neat to have, then I'd recommend the book. If you're hoping for something more like new information, this book doesn't really include that so this book probably isn't for you. If you're really concerned about how art quality isn't up to your standards, then you're probably one of those people who also thinks Pokémon get way less creative as the generations go on (because Magnemite is totally unique). --P.S. that is a joke.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful book for Avatar fans!
*by K***Y on March 9, 2021*

Wonderful book for all fans of Avatar! As some others have said the art in some of it looks really... off. Like it was poorly traced. Then it clashes with the art from the artbook that looks very finished and polished. I don't know if the art was intended that way or not, but it was a bit disappointing to see, especially when the Legacy of the Fire Nation book's art outdoes this ones by a long shot. But still, I greatly enjoyed it and the little inserts added into it. I also assumed I was getting it in paperback like it says, but was very surprised to have it arrive in hardback! Definitely recommend it for any Avatar fan!
