Cheap leather, but that was to be expected for the price.The case doesn't get in the way of any buttons or ports, and the screen is exposed enough that sliding in from edges works fine.Functionally, the case works very well right now (read: new). I don't particularly like the way the bottom "clips" need to be released to use the stand functionality. These "clips" do not grab very strongly as-is and I think they will quickly wear out from popping the tablet in/out repeatedly to use the stand. I wonder how secure the tablet will be in the case then?I love the one hand strap, however when using it this way if you tilt your hand at all (e.g. when using the tablet while laying down or when carrying it at your side while walking) the tablet wants to flop over, which is kind of annoying. I've been using the nylon strap keeps the cover closed by hooking it over one corner of the screen when the case is folded up for one handed use, however this takes up some of the screen so it's not an ideal solution. It will 'sleep' my tablet when I close it. I almost didn't purchase it because that wasn't mentioned at the time I bought it. I recently upgraded my ThinkPad Tablet 2 to Windows 10, and now I use it more than ever, so the back strap is getting a lot of use and holding up well. There is only one minor setback for me, the cover seems to block the rear microphone a bit, so Cortana has some issues hearing me unless I hold it up closer to my mouth. I've been ripped off by more expensive but cheaper quality Shenzhen, China products from Amazon, cases that fell apart only weeks after initial use and costing $15-20, but this Poetic case at this super low price is really solid quality.
