Another color of this length version has had negative reviews for reliability. I found this item to be disappointing in many ways.It did not come with screws, unlike the shorter version. That means you will be unable to get screws that match in color.The slot in which the screws fit has a 90 degree angle between its walls. This is the standard angle for metric hardware. The screws you want to use are self-tapping, flat-head screws. Self-tapping screws need not have metric threads, so the ones you will be able to find in the US (#10) will not have the metric angle of the conical section at the head. They will be 82 degrees angle, and thus not mate well with the slots.The shorter version comes with a mounting template. This version comes without any help at all. So it is not obvious how high to mount it.When it is installed, I find that it resists wind that tries to force the door further open, but it releases with wind going the other direction. So it does not meet my needs, though this is of no concern for many applications.It is pretty and convenient.
