I've had this light for almost six months now, and I absolutely love it! It gives off a great and even amount of light (on the cooler side of the spectrum, but not horribly so), wide enough to use for music books without being a distraction to audiences in performances. (It also has a hood along the lower edge of the light to help shield the light from audiences, and that also works well.) It has a decently strong clip as well, so I've never had any issues with the grip slipping on my stand. The battery life is wonderful even when I have the light on the high setting (which I often do, because my eyesight is terrible). I have now used this light to play three multi-weekend musical productions, and it easily gets me through entire tech-week rehearsals and shows (about 3-5 hours each) without me having to plug it in. This is a good thing, because the cord for this charger is NOT long enough to have it plugged in while using it on your stand. So I just make sure I take it home and charge it between rehearsals/shows, and I'm good to go. Bright side: in a pit orchestra, it's one less cable to potentially trip over! The charger has a strange little happy-face light on the side of it as a status indicator of charge--red when it's still charging, and green once it's fully charged. Depending on who you ask, it's either adorable or creepy, but either way it's definitely useful. And it's also saved my butt when I plugged it into a power strip at a venue and the complete lack of light on that charger told me the power to the strip was in fact cut off. My only complaint about the charger is that the fit of the cable into the base of the light is kind of loose after using it a few times, but as long as I make sure there's no strain on the cord between the charger and the light when I go to charge it, I don't have any problems. Overall, this is a fantastic product, and well worth the price I paid for it (which was about $20 less than what I would've had to pay for the Mighty Bright that I had almost bought instead). I am a happy customer!

I am an educated consumer and do my homework before purchasing. I read the reviews and shop around. I bought this lamp in September 2019 but decided to wait at least half a year before reaching any conclusions. It is now nine months later and I am happy to report that I have no criticisms, whatsoever. I considered the bigger and more expensive models, but focused on the following (in no particular order): • Reasonable price; • Cordless (comes with detachable cord and charger); • Rechargeable (uses lithium rechargeable battery that recharges via USB-adapter like what you use for the iPhone cord); • Long lasting; • Bright light that doesn’t add color; • Portable and lightweight; • Adjustable; • Padded so that it wouldn’t harm the music stand on my piano; • Easy to use. I read the negative reviews, too, which in this case seem to relate to individual issues having nothing to do with the overall product. I often play my piano in the evenings with very little ambient light, for a particular kind of mood; without a music stand light, it would be virtually impossible for me to be able to read the music in front of me with my 64-year old eyes. But, I did not want a big light; on the contrary, I wanted something that would illuminate only the music on the music stand (not the rest of the room). This lamp does everything I had hoped for and has been 100% reliable. Bottom line? At $16, this light is not just a bargain, it is unbeatable.

Thie light is great. It can be used for DJ work, be useful for reading or a power outage.

This light works perfectly on my piano! I use the brightest setting but appreciate the lower-light option being available. A single charge lasts for several practice sessions, and the light recharges quickly as needed. It’s simple, slim and attractive. The light stays cool, even during protracted use.

I have a dozen of these lights which are used by our church's praise band. They are plenty bright and are easily adjusted to shine the light where needed. The mounting clip is also strong enough to stay where you put it. We are really fond of the lights and I would love to give them five stars because the lamps truly deserves it. The problem is the electrical adapter used for recharging - they are a weak link and wear out sooner than I expected. That wouldn't be much of a big deal if I could just replace the adapters, but when I contacted the company several weeks ago to ask about that option, I was told they do not sell them separately. I'll continue to use these lights and swap lights and adapters around so we can keep them all charged, but it's just disappointing to have to do that.

Buy this if you’re a singer!!! I sing at church and the light is horrible on a good day. This light holds on my music stand and I don’t need reading glasses to make out the notes because I now have great lighting! Just the right size, not too big (although the picture makes it look like it). A violinist recommended this to me after a wedding we played for and I’m so grateful for the recommendation

I do use this for my music stand. I play a harp and at my age, I do not try to memorize music anymore. And being older I need to really see the music and fingerings. So a light is essential in a darker space or at night. This light is lightweight, easy to pack and adjust on the stand, has two levels of brightness, and a good tight spring attachment mechanism to keep it on the stand in the position I want. It can be used with batteries which seem to last a good amount of time, or can be plugged in the wall to preserve the batteries. The LEDs are spread out wide enough to brighten a double page of music.

I bought this as a form of cold lighting for some video recording. Not what it was made for, but it's ideal! The lighting levels are good, the clip is very sturdy and clips onto surfaces such as shelving, benchtops and clampstands, and the battery lasts as advertised. The charger's LED indicator is very useful too. Brilliant!

A good sturdy light that is as much at home on a desk as it is clipped onto a music stand. The light coverage is good over the whole page without being blindingly strong. The price was good - it would be easy to find a similar light for twice the price. I'm looking forward to having my music well lit when performing in dimly lit churches and carolling at Christmas!

I am writing to update my review of this product as I found this seller to be extremely reputable - I would definitely purchase from them again in the future. We had a small issue due to a manufacturing defect which the seller handled with professsionalism and to our satisfaction. It’s a great light, with great battery life, and charges very quickly. Overall a great product!
