It works PERFECTLY! This unit provides the right amount of power for my pi unlike so many other chargers out there which cause issues. I also use this unit to power a small usb fan, which is to help the heat from the raspberry pi (mine is over-clocked). The power switch is great for powering on/off my retro system.I will be purchasing this unit for every raspberry pi project I undertake. I needed something to help ensure I could charge All The Things while I was away from home without having to carry so many darn chargers. This can only handle 1 or 2 higher draw items (tablet/phone) at a time before it flips out. Which works fine for me, since 2 of the items I need to charge are very low draw items - bike lights.Don't buy this, however, if you think you want to charge a bunch of phones or tablets.
