I Bent some 1/4" tubing into a circle with it and it came out to .812 inside diameter. **Q: Can this bend 3/16 inch stainless steel tubing?** A: Worked fine with 0.035 wall 1/4. You should have no problem with 3/16. **Q: Can this tool bend a 1/8 inch steel tube? I see that most people are using it on copper and aluminum.** A: It depends on the mailability of the metal. If it does not ben easily, the tube bender will not be able to bend it. **Q: Can bender be used to make a coil?** A: I think it would be possible to form a coil, but the tool is really designed to make 1 to 90 degree bends and it is easy to continue to 180 degrees. It's a great little tool, light duty. You can destroy it if youre not careful but for the price, i'd buy 2 of them. From a lifetime automotive professional.
