Capri Tools Tube Bender, 1/8, 3/16 and 1/4 in. (CP21105)

Even though you can bend 3/16 copper-nickel brake lines by hand - this tool gives repeatable, smooth, professional looking bends. Used this to do an entire car and had no issues, a great value for the money.

Great product, work well

I own a large tube bender, but it's cumbersome and takes two hands to operate so I ordered the Capri Tube Bender to bend lines on my 68 Camaro. I was bending Steel and CopNic lines and had more success curling a few 3/16 (tight 360 curl) and 1/4 steel lines (45-120 degree). When attempting the same 360 with the a 1/4 CopNic line, the tool crushed/cut the line (it was the soft metal). However, this little bender was so much easier to use than my large bender and worked flawlessly when I stayed w/i the recommended bend radius. Also, it's great for tight spots (dry fitting adjustments under the car were a snap...impossible with my larger bender)! After less than 1 hour, the little bender lost some luster as paint flaked off the working parts, but this did not affect the bending performance. I'm not sure of the durability, but for the price and amount of effort and time saved, I would recommend the Capri Tube Bender.

I was skeptical when I received this tool. It was small and light so I didn't expect much. I was happily surprised. It bent the brake lines I was making perfectly. It was definitely worth the money and times.

This tool is good quality. I've used it with 3/16" steel brake tubing. It bent the tubing perfectly every time. The tool pieces are fit tightly together so that there is no slop in the unit as a whole. This is a great thing! I've had trouble with small tubing benders in the past (different brands) due to sloppy fittings in the tool that allowed the tubing to move around and even bend slightly sideways. On this unit, the connecting bar between the top and bottom handles is VERY THICK. I believe this is what helps it be so solid. This is well-built.

I really like Capri tools, I have quite a few of their pieces in my shop and they've never let me down. I've had some small diameter tubing work as of late and this bender really did the truck. Smooth, easy to handle and make bends, I'm definitely happy to have this in my little shop. I would absolutely recommend this tool.

It works but there are better options out there, it felt a little loose at the hinge area like if I put just a little to much pressure it would come apart but other than that it works and the price wasn't to bad either

Works surprisingly well for solid 1/4" rod. I mounted the tool in a vice and put a pipe on the handle to get leverage as the handles are quite short, but the result was better than expected. The tool is aluminum so it may not hold up to this kind of use. Only drawback to this is that the bend radius is fixed. Hard to measure but I would guess the bend radius for the .25" slot is about .4"

Works very well. Can do up to about 100 degrees. Very simple to use. Highly recommend. Used for 3/16" lines and did exactly what was required

Bought to do some brake line repairs. It bends standard copper pipe really well. Just take it easy and don't rush it.

This tube bender works well for bending brake lines. Has good finish well made. It should last for years.

I wanted to bend some brass pipe to run some wires through for a project. As such it was important to affect a bend in the pipe that didn’t “crimp” the pipe to the extent that the cable couldn’t be run through it. I bought these as they weren’t overly expensive to see if they’d do what I needed - they did. I should also note that I heated the pipe up with a blow torch before using the pipe benders and bent the tube whilst it was still hot.
