Can this do what I need?** A: No, you need a larger compressor. Check out Harbor Freight, they have an excellent one for less than $50.00. **Q: Does this item store air in a tank?** A: Your answer is no, this little compressor does not store air in an air tank. It has air as needed, if needed around 12-18 psi then its fine, if more than that , then you will need something different. **Q: Does this have a Schrader Valve? It looks like it does in the photographs.** A: I'm not familiar with the valve type you mention, but the valve is one that wicks off the moisture from the air stream. It is a very good unit, works very well and very happy with the value for the price. I reached out to seller about a replacement part and they shipped another compressor the same day. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Not sure how many PSI other reviewer needed but.... *by D***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2019* This is a compressor for AIR BRUSH work, not filling tires or other things where you need a great deal of pressure or volume. I am not sure what the max PSI is but it does the job we use it for which is pressurizing a barrel and pushing bourbon out. Not super fast, but for what we need it is fine. Quiet. No oil. Bought in 2016 and it is still going fine. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Leaks air *by E***F on Reviewed in the United States on March 16, 2024* It's quiet and it provides 60 PSI, but this leaks air like you wouldn't believe. Without a hose, or with a hose that has a closed valve at the end, the regulator shows 60 PSI, the compressor cuts out, and the pressure in the regulator immediately drops below 40 PSI, causing the compressor to kick back in.It's probably just the regulator, but why do I have to repair something I that just bought with the express purpose of saving me time? This thing is now stacked on the to-fix shelf, and I'm fitting up my pancake air compressor with a store-bought regulator to use instead.UPDATE: I took the separator/regulator off and replaced the entire connection (separator, shutoff valve, line, nozzle) with components from my spare parts bin. Same thing happened. I took it all off and inspected the connection on the compressor itself, and saw that the thread cut into the casting was very poor. I cleaned it up with a thread chaser, used about three times as much teflon tape as usual, and put it together using the original parts. Works fine now.
