**Q: How many outlets does this take up? One or two?**
A: This only uses 1 outlet.  It's a dual sensor so only one connector needed.

**Q: Will this work with the apc ap8865 model pdus?**
A: Yes.  According to the AP8865 documentation, it supports both the APC AP9335T and AP9335TH model.   This should work fine for it.

**Q: Does it alert you by email?**
A: When used in conjunction with the network monitoring card, it does have the ability to alert via e-mail.

**Q: Can this be plugged into one of the universal i/o ports on the ap9641 network management card?**
A: it can plugged to the RJ45 connection in the AP9641
