The PUR Black 750 ml Can (BF01) by Todol delivers high-performance polyurethane foam with a free-rise expansion of 1.67 cubic feet. Engineered to remain stable across extreme temperatures from -40°F to 176°F, it activates efficiently at a minimum can temperature of 40°F. Compact and lightweight, this black-finished foam can is ideal for professionals seeking reliable insulation and sealing solutions in any climate.

## Description

Pur Black was developed especially for outdoor use. Its black color blends into the surrounding environment and never looks dirty. It seals and stops the passage of air, gases, water, dust, fibers and sound into a building. Sealing air leaks also reduces the number of places that insects can use to enter a house. Pur Black is a rigid, low expanding, closed-cell foam that is applied with a foam gun. One 750 ml canister will produce 2,820 cubic inches of cured foam, making 1,200 linear feet of 1/2" bead. It is tack-free in 10 minutes and trimmable in 30 minutes. No application gun is provided with a can of PUR Black foam. An application gun may be purchased separately (see related products below).

We have a house in the country where it's not unusual to see all sorts of critters looking for a winter home. This product was recommended to us by a wildlife specialist to seal areas where small critters and black snakes were sneaking into our basement According to the directions PUR black does have a temperature limitation if used outdoors. We also purchased the Foam Gun (Picowe Foaming Gun Pu Expanding Caulking Gun Metal Body Pro Heavy Duty PU Spray Foam Gun Grade Expanding Spray Applicator) which made application under outside siding and in upper basement wall crevices easier. The gun allows you to close the nozzle and save what it left in the can.
