Walker's Razor Digital MUFF

These earmuffs are great! So much better than the Howard light electronic muffs that I have been using. Slightly more expensive, but much more comfortable. The confusing part of this listing is that there are 10 different variations that appear to be colors, but the digital earmuffs work better and include an electronic shut off. It took me several tries to figure that out, and I still haven't figured out how to program the electronic shut off to the 2, 4 or 6 hour setting. But it does work and it saves the batteries. There's also poor instruction about how to actually use the digital earmuffs. I almost sent them back because the control knob didn't switch off. That is by design, and if you press the control knob in for a couple of seconds it turns them on and off. All that to say, I really like these earmuffs and I really wish they had come with instructions so I didn't have to bumble around so much. Hopefully this review will help you figure things out

These ears are very comfortable and do as they are intended... protect your hearing while at the range. The noise cancellation is great and still allows for conversation. As mentioned in other reviews, you can really hear your surroundings with the amplification of regular sounds, so no need to yell at someone right next you anymore.

All round protection and great slim noice canceling! You have to get the gel earpads it's a day and night difference much more comfortable than the stock ones they come with. These gelpads are also more comfy especially when used for long periods of time. On my Razors I also did the fillings mod while changing the earpads which helps gain more sound protection coverage passively by filling the internal shell with your regular ear plugs fitted 15 on each side and it's no noticeable weight difference and what this do is that it fills the empty shell to give you an extra Db noise reduction passively. Now these works just fine and provide excellent protection right out the box I've shot with my semi 12ga, AK, 9mm and 5.56 without any issues and best part is that these muffs have omni directional mics so you can tell from which side noise is coming plus it amplifying to hear more good for hunting or listing people gossiping at the range lol. Pretty happy with my purchase I also got the Zohan walkie talkie that you can clip on to give you PTT comms with fellow buddies at the range or outdoor with great functions.

I now own two sets of these Walker Razer Digital Slim ear-pro. For the money they work great. I have one pair to use at my local indoor range, and another pair I cut the headband off of to pair up with new wire arms that attach to a bump helmet for an outdoor range since I shoot steel there. These respond very quick to mute gun fire, and they are comfortable. You are probably wondering what those black things are on the one side of the ear cups. Well those are made by Walker too, and they plug into the input jack on the Walker Razer slim ear-pro. They turn your ear-pro into two way comms that use the FRS and GMS radio frequencies. You can search for them here on Amazon to learn more, and also search on YouTube, they work great. But back to the Razers, these are really nice, check them out, I like them a lot.

Had a chance to use these at the range while shooting a 12 gauge shotgun. Reaction time to noise, and overall suppression is good. Head band is a little tight, but not uncomfortable. Overall happy with the purchase. Biggest complaint is a lack of clarity on the advertised auto shut of feature. The Walker's website lists these as having an "Auto shut off 2/4/6 hours" and on the same page lists "Auto shut off 4 hours". The Amazon listing is "the Digital Razor features an auto shut off at 2, 4, and 6 hour marks" There is no downloadable manual from the Walker's site for this product. The provided documentation is microscopic and lists the auto shut off as "4 hours" (see picture). Not the end of the world, but I was expecting a product with configurable auto shut off.

I had an old generic digital headphone for the range. As a battery splurge destroyd one side it was time for a replacement. What a differethe Razor Digital is. Wow. I also got the gel ear pads as accessory. An excellent and comfy ear protection now.

Awesome product! Works as described. It's amazing how someone can talk right next to you and you can hear them fine but when the gunfire starts it blocks all that out like a regular pair of earmuffs. It was a great stocking stuffer I've recommended them to everybody I know!

Looked fine then put battery in and turned it on. They worked till i went to adjust them to fit my head and they shut off. tried to put new batteries in they still would not work . NO Good, DOA. Guess i have to buy them again if i want to see if they work. got it on prime day so they are 11 dollars more. I wish they could just send me another pair, guess i will try a different brand to keep my budget. Oh yeah, you have to push the knob to turn them on but mine turned dead seconds later.

Amazing sound and noise cancellation.

A very well made product and highly recommended. Works as described and should be a great addition if you are a shooter. Only reason for 4 stars is the ear muff part is a bit "standard" I have ordered a set of GEL mufs.
