Review: Starbucks Venti 24oz Cold Cup — The One I Actually Keep in My Car - I’ve had the Starbucks Venti 24oz cold cup in rotation for about a year now, and it’s the reusable tumbler I grab 90% of the time. I live in Florida and I’m on the road a lot for work, so “does this survive my car and my iced coffee habit” is the test everything has to pass. This one does. Mostly. I bought mine because I was tired of the single-use cups piling up, and yeah, I’m a little obsessed with the frosted look. It’s just a clear plastic tumbler with the Siren logo, a snap-on lid, and the green straw. BPA-free, 24oz, round, fits most cup holders. Nothing fancy. That’s kind of the point. What I actually like - Size + fit: Venti is 24oz. That’s a full iced coffee from the drive-thru with room for extra ice, or a doppio over ice if I’m doing the budget hack. It fits my car’s cup holder, which is non-negotiable when you drive as much as I do in FL heat. - Durable enough for daily abuse: I’ve dropped it, left it rolling around the passenger seat, run it through the dishwasher. Still no cracks. Other people call it “sturdy and high quality” too. Lid stays on better than I expected. - Keeps iced drinks cold half the day: Not vacuum-insulated like a stainless bottle, but my iced coffee stays cold until lunch. Good enough for commuting, errands, beach days. - Dishwasher safe + easy to clean: I hand wash sometimes, but it’s been fine on the top rack. No weird plasticky smell. - Reusable perk: If you bring your own cup, you usually get a discount and avoid waste. Over a year, that adds up. Where it’s not perfect - It’s plastic, not insulated: If you leave it in a hot Florida car for 3 hours, your ice will be gone. This is a “cold drinks only” cup. Don’t put hot coffee in it unless you want a warped mess and maybe a burn. - Lid + seam can drip: Most disposable cold cups have a seam, and if the lid hole lines up with that seam, you’ll get a little drip. I just rotate the lid and it stops. Annoying, but not a dealbreaker. Some older reviews mention lids not fitting tight, though mine’s been fine. - Price markup happens: People complain these are overpriced depending on where you grab them. - Not leakproof: It’s a cup with a straw, not a sealed tumbler. If it tips in your bag, it will leak. Car cup holder only. Value for money If you can snag it for around $12-$15, it’s worth it. You break even fast if you use the reusable discount. The quality holds up, and two-pack bundles are a good deal for two cups. But I wouldn’t pay scalper prices. At that point, grab a stainless tumbler. This cup’s job is lightweight daily use, not all-day ice retention. Real-world ways I use it 1. Road trips + commutes: Fill with iced coffee before I leave. Fits the cup holder, doesn’t sweat much, straw means no spills while driving. 2. Budget coffee hack: Order a venti iced doppio over ice, add my own almond milk. Whole thing stays under $4 and I’m not carrying a 40oz jug. 3. Beach/pool days: Doesn’t matter if it gets sandy. Rinse it, done. Won’t shatter like glass. 4. DIY decorating: People Cricut these all the time for gifts. I haven’t, but the frosted ones look good plain. Who it’s for If you want a lightweight, venti-sized cup for iced coffee/tea/lemon water that looks decent and doesn’t cost much, get it. If you need 12-hour ice retention or zero leaks, skip it and get stainless. For me, living in Florida heat and always in my car, it’s practical. It’s not perfect, but it’s the one I actually use instead of leaving in a cabinet. I’ve replaced disposable cups with it, and it hasn’t cracked or clouded yet. That’s a win.
Review: I love my Starbucks Cold Cup... - Whatever you do, don't try to cheap out on a product like this that you'll be drinking from. I did that before I bought this one, and I learned the hard way... I wanted iced coffee at home. So, I was out one day and bought a freezer-type tumbler like this one (or so I thought) on the cheap at a dollar store. I looked neat, it had freezer gel in between the double-walled layers, and I thought that I hit the jackpot! After its first use, I was ok...until I went to wash it. The gel came out the top, the coffee got in between where the gel used to live...it was a mess! So, I logged on to desertcart and searched and searched for a better one. After reading lots of reviews...I decided on the Starbucks (24 oz Venti sized) Cold Cup! I LOVE IT! Its great quality, everything that belongs in the cup stays in the cup, and everything that belongs outside of the cup...well stays there too (see above comment to fully understand!) It's been about a month or so now, and I've got no complaints! This cup is used daily, washed successfully, doesn't leak, hasn't sweated (or left water rings anywhere), and keeps my iced coffee (or frozen lemonade, both made at home) nice and cold! It's a bit pricey, but I've decided it's worth it this time to buy name brand! FYI - A tip for all you home brewing iced coffee people out there. Usually, iced coffee needs to be double strength to taste right cold (because of diluting from ice cubes). If you make your coffee regular strength at home, you can save lots of money on coffee by grabbing some reusable food grade plastic ice cubes (desertcart or other camping stores). Brew your coffee regular strength, store in the fridge, then...when you want iced coffee without a diluted taste; drop in your non-melting, non-ice, ice cubes...and Voila! You've got iced coffee...cold as can be, and will never taste watered down, will save you coffee money, and stay freezing cold for hours! You're welcome! P.S - This cup is awesome. Grab it now before they read this and the price goes up! J.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this cup sweat?**
A: It has a double wall precisely to avoid sweating, mine does not sweat

**Q: Can this be used for hot beverages?**
A: No. This product is only to be used for cold beverages.

**Q: does it hold hot and cold beverages?? whats the purpose of the 2 cups (one inside the other)??**
A: The purpose of the inside cup is for insulation to keep liquids cold without sweating on the outside. I have not used my cup for hot beverages as I prefer not to sip hot beverages through a straw. But it just might work for hot as well as cold. Hope you enjoy it.

A: Yes I can sell you just a lid, send me message to my seller account
