So cool!The Snoppa Vmate is a powerful little package that is very newbie friendly.Upon opening the package, I was suprised at how tiny this camera is. It cam in a protective case that easily fits in your pocket. On top of the protective case, there is a nice Pergear can that you can place the camera, and charger in! Did I mention the charger is USB C? I am so happy that USB C is becoming common.I was just itching to get this camera going so I started it up right away with the only physical button on it. The gimbal self calibrated and was ready to go. The swipe / touch screen interface is super simple and I went from 1080/30fps to 4k/60fps in no time. I took a short video of the dogs and walk from my dimly lit house to the bright Texas sun. The video adjusted in no time at all! Playing back 4k video on the device isn't the smoothest but when I popped the memory card that was included into my computer, everything was super smooth and super crisp. Wow! The camera is better than my DJI Mavic Platinum camera!After my initial test I had to see the app + phone interaction. I installed the app from the Google Play store and the pair process was practically automated. Then I accidentally turned the camera off. The app began looking for the device and when I turned it back on, it automatically reconnected. Very nice touch!After installing a firmware update I decided to tinker a bit while eating lunch. It was so much easier to change the camera settings on the app and the tutorial was great at showing me all of the features. There is even a livestreaming mode and left handed mode (thank you!). I can't wait to try that out.Overall the build quality, software, reliability of this camera is 10/10. I would certainly recommend this especially over some of the more expensive competitors. In the next iteration of this I would love to see a mount for a tripod so I can use this to record working on cosplay props without fear of the wind knocking over the camera.If you are on the fence, get it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ UPDATE! Auto focus is unreliable on my Snoppa Vmate *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 31, 2020* My Snoppa Vmate is an excellent device in most respects. However, I can not give more than three stars because the autofocus does not work well. Often times the camera will not focus at all. Other than that and the minimalist user instructions, this is a fine 3 axis, mechanical gimbal, camera.UPDATE. I exchanged email with the seller, FOTOGEEKS, regarding the focus issue. I rate the seller FIVE STARS for their attention to the issue. They quickly sent out another Snoppa Vmate. The new unit seems to not have the autofocus defect. I was only able to test it in my back yard for now, but in a few weeks I will return to a real world setting to thoroughly test my new Vmate.
