An old Motorola cable modem from like six years ago and an Apple Airport Express that's even older. I am not, by any means an IT pro, but I have picked up a lot from troubleshooting basic stuff and learning from various friends in the field. Take the following with that in mind.So far we've had this baby running for a little over a month with no issues. The slim design is a real bonus as my desk is already at capacity with a full-tower case, two monitors, full size keyboard and printer on it. The signal is surprisingly strong. We live in a one bedroom on the third floor and I get wireless signal about a half city block away from home via my cell phone. We have something like 10 devices connected via wifi and there has yet to be any issues with it. I may have messed up something in the setup, but currently my wired PC gets considerable lag when my wireless PS3 is streaming movies. nothing major, but Skype calls get distorted from time to time.Speaking of setup, talk about a breeze! The UI is kinda ugly, but the instructions are simple enough to follow for the basics. I can see where a lot of the features would come in handy, but personally I didn't need them, I just wanted a reliable product and most of my IT friends said Buffalo was the way to go.
