More often than not this travel consists of one to two day trips and then I am back home with my family. While I appreciate the quick return, the cost associated with checking luggage is often difficult to rationalize. I needed to find a reasonable alternative and after doing a little research on Amazon, I was able to do just that.Enter the Merinte DAYPACK – TRAVELPACK.Now when I travel, I pack my heavy duty backpack with multiple compartments with my essentials, toss my Merinte TRAVELPACK in the front pocket and head to the airport. What I like about my Merinte pack is that I have it! Normally when I travel, I have to unpack my whole bag and stow it away in the hotel and then pack it up before leaving. This is kind of a pain in the butt. Thanks to the Merinte, that isn’t necessary anymore. My Merinte is lightweight, has two compartments (a large and small), and has padded straps which is awesome since I carry it on me throughout the day. Then at the end of the day, I return to my room, unpack it, and prepare for the following day. What is cool about the bag is that if I don’t shop or add anything extra then when I am ready to go home, I simply for the bag back into its pocket and put it back in my bag OR if I do have additional things to bring home, I have another bag to carry it home safely.As an added bonus, I am also able to use this bag for local day trips. When we head to the area theme park, zoo, park, etc… I back our essentials for the day and we are off.This is a great addition for everyday and travel use and I am happy with my purchase. I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a pack for one to two day travel or day trips around town. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bag for family outings with kids. *by M***L on Reviewed in the United States on September 7, 2015* Having kids it's unavoidable of not having to bring extra things, whether it be clothes toys, food, etc., I always have something to bring with me in which it goes into my purse. I should say did since I stopped using a purse to avoid much more added clutter and that's not working out to well. I like that I can use this bag and it holds everything that I need plus some but that it's easily able to be stored and it takes up less room than my hand. I can store it in the diaper bag, car, wherever. I really like that the daypack is lightweight and simple. It has two compartments. A smaller one in the front and a bigger one in the back. It is laid out like you would find a backpack. The bag that you're able to store the daypack into has a little compartment on the bottom of the back that you're able to zip it closed. There is a hook within that area so if you wanted to attach your keys or when you've closed the bag up you have a strap that you can attach it to something to carry and/or store. You don't have to be precious in rolling it up. As long as you have it bunched up, for the most part, you're get it enclosed you may just have to work it in. The most it has taken me to put up, regardless if I try to do it neatly or not, is 30-45 seconds, max. Doesn't get much easier than that. The colors are great, grey and pink. It's very simple and lightweight and you can store so much into it if you need to. Very pleased. I received this at a discounted rate for my unbiased review. We have three kids that live here in Las Vegas and three that live in South Carolina. Keeping that in mind, I'm sure you can imagine the chaos when it comes to travelling across country. When this Daypack came up, I knew I needed to try it. I wasn't sure what to expect though. Seeing pictures online, you would think that some of the pack was reinforced in some way. For example, I would have thought the bottom would have some sort of hard bottom. It doesn't but that is what makes it a really handy bag to have. When the kids suitcases get full or if one of the girls want to roll up the backpack and put it in their purse, this is super easy to do. It also works very well for a toddler's "on the go" bag. It's light enough for them to carry but strong enough to hold plenty of toys to keep your little one's occupied.We have used this bag for so many things. It's been a bag for our granddaughter's toys and sippy cups. It's been a bag to put wet bathing suits in. It's been a bag to carry items to a picnic. I really like that this has so many uses and is great for travelling. It's also crazy how small this bag will fold down to. It takes up hardly any space at all.
