**Q: Are the water bottle pockets large enough to hold a 32 oz Nalgene bottle?**
A: Yes, the pockets are large enough to fit a Nalgene bottle.  The zippers close to the back of the compartment so that you can place the bottle into the compartment and zip it almost all the way closed.  The top of the bottle will come out of the pocket but the bottle will stay securely in the compartment.

**Q: What are the demensions of the laptop part?**
A: Good size. 12 by 17

**Q: Will this pass Delta airlines carry on regulations?**
A: I think it likely qualifies as a carry- on personal item as long as you don't pack it so full that it won't fit under the seat in front of you.  It should almost certainly qualify as a carry-on luggage item to be stowed in the overhead bin.
