This gate was very easy to set up. I bought it to stop Delta my dog going up the stairs and it worked perfectly. It’s very sturdy and great value for money.You can easily adjust it , safe and well made. It actually worked so well that even I had trouble opening it at first, but once you get used to it, it’s fine. Really pleased with it and definitely worth the money.

I use this as a dog gate at the stairs, and it has worked very well. The metal frame feels sturdy, the included extensions make it suitable for wider openings, and the pressure-mount system keeps it securely in position. The walk-through door is much more convenient than having to step over a fixed barrier. It has been reliable for keeping the dog away from the stairs while still allowing easy access when needed. A strong, practical gate that works just as well for pets as it does for its intended purpose.

My 1.5-year-old is very active so I needed a gate to keep her from wandering into the toilet when I’m busy. I like this product because it fits various doorways thanks to the extension kit. However, I find them less secure than hard-mounted designs which need drilling and are less renter-friendly for energetic kids and top-of-stairs locations. I use wall cups for safety which also requires drilling. While similar one-hand gates and walk-throughs often have similar basic build quality some offer more robust latches smoother mechanisms and heavier frames that feel more long-lasting. We’ve been using it for nearly six months and I recommend it if you’re looking for a budget-friendly baby or pet gate that’s easy to install, especially in rentals. It offers walk-through convenience with a one-hand opening and adjustable door widths (with an extension, sold separately). Its best for use in doorways, kitchens, and pet-safe zones provided you measure your opening carefully and install the wall cups for added stability. It provides simple home safety without breaking the bank. But If you want the most secure gate, especially for top-of-stairs locations, or strong toddlers, I would advise consider other options. You’ll need a gate that can withstand strong toddlers pushing and leaning has a very wide opening (which might require extra extension or a larger model) and is better secured with a hardware-mounted gate from other trusted brand with stronger attachment points. Wasn't expecting much from this for the price it was, but it does the job well and is as good as any other baby gate I've had in the past. Easy to fit and the latch is easy to use one handed. A clever toddler might be able to discover how to operate it but so far my puppy hasn't worked it out!!

Super easy to put together, great price. Easy open. Very sturdy when installed. It's perfect. And believe them when the day the gap is not a defect. It does in fact close up when installed correctly..

Does the job but i thought may be extendable, but it is reliant on the screw bits in the end, if the gap is between the two “extra size” panels, that extend the gate to the extra width. This said, I am only using to keep dogs from going upstairs. I wouldn’t put this at the top of the stairs if I had a toddler as I don't feel it is sturdy enough and it tends to flex as the additional bits (that extend it) are just slotted in. So for keeping toddlers/ dogs out where they are not going to push against it = does the job, bit weak but it does it. Keeping toddler safe where they could fall = I wouldn’t, so avoid as It’s not sturdy enough.

Brilliant stair gate, easily covering 105cm span. Took 5mins to set up and keeps the dogs securely in the house. Would recommend and great price.

***STRANGULATION RISK - UNSAFE PRODUCT*** The design of this gate poses a serious risk of strangulation to dogs. I purchased the gate based on the extensive number of positive reviews which I now question the authenticity of. The gate was fitted the day it arrived 21/07/2026. The following morning my puppy was shut behind it. Within minutes he had stood up against the gate and put his head through one of the widened sections and subsequently slid down to where it narrows. Being unable to release himself he had begun to strangle. We were extremely lucky my 7yo daughter found him hanging and was able to release and resuscitate him - a seriously traumatic experience for both her and our dog. This is a shocking design flaw which is both unnecessary and unsafe. Please take notice and do not buy this product. I have been unable to contact Amazon or the manufacturer of this so welcome the opportunity to discuss with either should they wish to get in contact.

Ordené esta reja para mi bebé y tenía mis reservas ya que leí malas reseñas pero me atrevo a decir que no hagan caso a las malas reseñas ya que cumplió con mis expectativas, llegó en perfecto estado empaquetada, la reja mide lo que dice en la descripción (49”) incluyendo extensiones y se ajustó perfecto a mi espacio de 48.5”/123cm, es de metal, fácil de instalar y queda muy rígida y estable, siempre y cuando LEAS Y SIGAS las instrucciones y la instalen correctamente; vi malas reseñas en cuanto a que es difícil de instalar o que la puerta no cerraba por quedar una abertura grande en la puertita pero literalmente viene con VARIOS letreros en la reja, caja e instrucciones que dicen que la abertura NO ES UN DEFECTO y se va cerrando conforme vayas ajustando la reja presionando con la pared, solo tienes que leer y seguir las instrucciones y será fácil instalarla y quedará segura. Además de la cerradura cuenta con un seguro extra para que no sea fácil que un niño la abra Contras: lo único malo es que la puerta es pequeña y no puedo pasar la carreola por ahí pero eso es porque yo paseo a mi bebé dentro de mi casa, además de que es para dejarse instalada en un solo lugar porque no es práctico estarla quitando y poniendo, pero aún así 10 de 10!!

L’ho acquistato per separare il mio Labrador quando necessario e sono davvero soddisfatta. È robusto, stabile e semplice da montare. Riesce a contenere senza problemi anche un cane di taglia grande, dandomi la tranquillità di poter dividere gli spazi della casa in sicurezza. Si apre e si chiude facilmente, è pratico da usare ogni giorno e non occupa troppo spazio. I materiali sembrano di buona qualità e, dopo diversi utilizzi, è ancora perfetto. Lo consiglio a chi ha cani di media o grande taglia e cerca un cancelletto affidabile e resistente.
