Lovely illustrations and a really good message in a fun story with fun rhymes. Review: Excellent, wholesome bedtime reading - Beautiful book. Wholesome story with a great moral underpinning about how we should accept one another despite our differences (in the vein of Romeo and Juliet - but with a happy ending). I bought it as a Christmas present for my 4 year old niece as she loves Julia Donaldsons books and the TV shows. She really enjoyed hearing it and following along with the pictures at bedtime. She loved it so much, I had to read it twice (which I was happy to as I loved it too). It is now kept on her bedtime story shelf for regular reading.
