If you're needing to make up your own cabling, or do some cabling runs these connectors will serve you well!These are the SAME EXACT connectors DIRECTV uses. (They will also work on DISH AFAIK)Once you strip cable, insert connector and with a compression tool "compress" the connector for a PERMANENT, Water tight/resistant connection!With about 10 mins practice you will be able to make cables like the PRO's do!****Tools needed:You will need a striping tool, and compression type F tool.Cost of tools:Low side $10-$15.... on up  Really good compression tools (Only needed if you're doing cabling professionally about $50- $80)Time: Takes about 5 seconds to strip cable, about 5 seconds to compress connector.

I bought this bag of F-Connectors because the local big box hardware store wants a lot for a little plus they aren't what I would consider a quality connector. These connectors are the push on type that use the tool that pushes the back and presses the connector onto the coax.I rewired my house inside and out with these connectors and after a winter and summer are holding up great! I would recommend these most definitely.
