would these hold up during shipping in hot weather?

I live in Charlotte and have had Runts shipped to me year-round with no issues!

Do these have plastic packaging inside the box or is the candy loose in the box?

The candy is packaged in a sealed boxed that requires opening; there is no plastic inside the box.
