Review: It works - Of course immediately after opening the package I found my original 3DS charger. However, this one also works fine. It seems to be slightly flimsier plastic than the official one but I'm not unplugging it and plugging it back in much so that doesn't matter. After a couple weeks continues to work fine charging my original model 3DS.

**Q: Does this work in the dark?**
A: It depends.   is it a wet dark or dry dark.   The charger is not rated for wet dark so should not be used when it is both wet and dark.   But it works perfectly in the dry dark.    I have noticed that it gets darker when you plug it in when it is already completely dark.   You should use a flashlight when plugging it in when dark for safety,  but remember  a flashlight will limit the products dark performance while the flashlight is on.

**Q: nintendo ds lite can use this ac adapter?**
A: No DSi and up...

**Q: Product did not work out of the package with my 2ds or 3ds, at any outlet. how do i go about getting amazon to send me a replacement?**

Cheaper then original and works in both 120v American and 240v European power. Original one burned out while I was travelling. Cable isn’t as long as original but that’s ok with me.
