Review: Very nice tight compression throughout the leg - These are the only leggings I work out in. For the gym, for a run, or to play tennis, anything I do with mild to high impact on my legs and knees, I am wearing these. Gives me much needed knee support, shock absorption and stability while active. Very nice tight compression throughout the leg, supporting my joints. High waisted giving good core support. Little mesh pocket at the waist for my chapstick. Strong material smooths out hips and most of the lumps and bumps for a smooth, curvy silhouette. Theyre costly but a worthy investment to protect from the wear and tear of vigorous activity. I have several because I work out often and work up a sweat but cant do laundry everday so its good to have several to keep in rotation while the sweaty ones are waiting to be washed. They can get expensive but often the prices fluctuate on desertcart so you can get good deals. Important to pay attention to the laundering tag. DO NOT use fabric softner on these and do not put them in the dryer. My first couple pair were getting little wholes in them that would eventually grow and turn into big rips. I was getting so upset that something so expensive was deteriorating so quickly, then I realized my laundry lady was washing them with fabric softners and machine drying them. Now I run them through the washer myself with lots of soap on either cold or warm water cycles and then just hang to let them air dry, and these last much longer. No wholes, fabric stays strong and in tact. Some of the tights that I have worn for years start to wear out in the inner thigh area close to the groin because of my shape and also when im stretching that area takes the most strain, but I just get them patched back up with additional black lycra fabric and theyre good as new. Many people complain about the sizing but these are compression leggings so they are strong and tight the way they are supposed to be, to hold everything up and together. If you are looking for something loose or super stretchy like yoga pants, these are not for you. These are for strong and serious support, for long term impact and protection, like for people running miles, etc. At first they were hard to put on but after a few washes and wear they get a bit more stretchy and I am so used to putting these on everyday I dont notice the resistance anymore and they feel so great once theyre on. I love how they make me look smaller and smooth out the curves and feel so well supported. The cw-x "stabilyx" are a very worthy investment for anyone truly needing good support in their activewear. These are only bested by their cw-x "endurance generator" tights which are the highest level of supportive tights this brand offers (and my favorite of the 2)
Review: The XL fits me like compression tights should - CW-X Women's Stabilyx Running Tights, Black, X-Large I normally wear 14-16 pants. My measurements at time of purchase 40" waist, 31" inseam. I have large calves (18") and thighs (25"). These hit me just above the belly button. The XL fits me like compression tights should, true support, very tight and a bit of a workout to put on. I don't have problems with them being see through anywhere. Had hubby check when I bent over too. Some people wear underwear with compression tights, others, like me, do not. I hate panty lines and can't imagine any brand that would not show lines in these. I sit down on the edge of my bed to work them up to the knee on both legs, then stand to work them over the knee for correct placement, then up the thighs. As other's have said, a bit like putting on pantyhose but substantially more difficult. I love the drawstring as my waist is currently a couple inches larger than my hips and these stay up great overall. I like the way they feel and could wear them all the time, but I don't so they will last longer as the are expensive. They do constrict my running some, as I am a beginner. The upside is I don't have near as much soreness and aching after my run. They are a bit warm if you're running in direct sunlight but fine if you run late evening. I can already tell they will be great for running in "normal" fall/winter temps here in Oklahoma. I personally wouldn't wear them in temps above 75, I think they would be too warm......that could because I'm fat. (I'm determined to lose weight and get healthy so cheer me on!!!) I have washed them twice on the hand wash cycle in my frontloading washer and hang them to dry without any issues so far. Yes, I would buy them again.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I have EDS hypermobility type. My hips are pretty sloppy in the socket. How much SI Joint & hip stability do these offer?**
A: I too have hEDS, and I also have bad hips and knees. I bought a pair of these about a month ago, and I LOVE them. They aren’t a magic bullet for my hip and knee instability, but they do definitely make them feel better and a little more stable. I don’t think I sublux as often with them on. They do seem to help my kneecap stay where it should. I have also hugely benefited from the improved leg circulation from the full-length compression. I actually get blood to my feet and my Raynaud’s doesn’t trigger as easily. I think the tights are a little itchy to wear because they’re so tight, and I don’t wear them all the time, but I don’t know if I will ever exercise without them again. Your milage may vary, but for me, these tights are going to be a permanent addition to my EDS management gear.

**Q: Are these tights good for warm weather?**
A: Yes, although I'm making a distinction between warm and hot. I have not worn mine in hot weather yet, but they're perfectly comfortable in warm weather.

**Q: How do I know if they are sitting on my knees right?**
A: I don't know if there is a correct way, but I try to pull them up so my knee caps are in the center of the x's, one above and one below the knees

**Q: Whay is the cost to ship to Melbourne Aust**
A: $24.95

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The XL fits me like compression tights should

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth every penny!
*by S***N on May 12, 2014*

I am 5'2",and curvy and athletic build. Waist 27, hips 37, upper thigh 23.5. Whereas I was once 120lbs, I am now 140. Needless to say adusting from a size 4 to a size 6 is a little complicated. I purchased the medium in the full length cwx and a small in the 3/4 length. The medium is a little lose around the knee and the small fit snug...really snug. In fact wearing the size small in cross fit class I was unable to do the toes to bar movement that I typically have no problem with. However, the tights were great for the rest of the workout which involved deadlifts and squats. the added support made my heavy lifts feel more supported thanks to the intended exoskeleton effects of the tights's construction. I am hoping the tights losen up a bit with wear but that likely will not happen because the material is really beefy. You need not worry about wearing these tights out anytime soon. Aside from the performance aspects the tights easily made me look a full size smaller so that's a much appreciated bonus.I will use the full length tights for workouts and recovery and just to hang out in as they are not as tight and are therefore more comfortable. I will not be wearing these tights in temperatures higher than 70 degrees- they are too warm. The tights would be great down into the 20s for me, so I will use the full length tights as primarily three season tights. Buy these tights- you will not be disappointed. I will likely buy a third pair ( the lighter more ventilated version) for warmer temps.
