Friend and I installed in 1 hour!
So far, so good. I called a certain FAMOUS plumbing company in the Houston area to install this because they wouldn't give me an estimate on the phone but would give me a free estimate after viewing the project at my house. The manufacturer told me it might take an hour or two to change the old one with this replacement. The plumbing company with all the TV ads said they would install it for $1400.00. I said for maybe 2 hours work???? I don't even know if DOCTORS make that much money (after all the insurance costs). But the plumber did tell me that these manablocs usually last about 10 years. I declined the plumbers offer and my neighbor and I installed it in 1 hour!

A breaker panel for the water supply and easy to install
I swa this unit installed about 5 years ago and I like the ability to turn on individual branches or supply lines to each individual device. Code here still requires a shut off at the end of each line near the fixture but that is not the main purpose of this manifold in my opinion. I built an addition to my house and it allowed me to get the plumbing to the new fixtures roughed in and then allows me to turn them on as I complete each section. There are a few things to be aware of and plan accordingly. The manifold is a bare manifold and only includes the selected port adapters. The supply adapters are not included and will need to be purchased separately. I also had a minor issue of a port that would seep a very minor amount of water on the order of a drop or 2 a day. I installed the Viega 36205 1/2" port cap on the unused ports as much to keep the port clean until needed. It would be nice to have these items included but as it stands it helps to keep cost lower and keep a bit of flexibility. Another minor issue and it may indeed be a non issue but the 1/2" PEX connections are crimp connections (F1807) as the 3/4 supply adapters I purchased. I contacted Viega and the tech folks there were very helpful, however they ony currently supply the PEX crimp (F1807) fittings. Viega does not currently provide adapters for PEX-A (F1960) expansion style fittings. No matter I crimp the PEX-A on the Viega adapter and use PEX-A expansion the rest of the way. Also in my spare parts inventory is a 51602 1/4 turn valve stem replacement kit and it includes a spare valve key. Overall the installation and of the unit went well and will make this a go to plumbing fixture.

Great customer service and a quality product
Okay, this is a two for one deal....im reviewing the Manobloc first then the seller. First off let me just say I'm no plumber nor did I ever play one on tv. I am however handy around the house and have some common sense. That being said this had to of been one of the easiest projects I have ever done. I replaced all the galvanized water pipes in my home with Pex and this manifold in one long day. That included a new water heater and filtration system as well. I have enough room for the addition I'm putting on this summer as well. As with any project I would highly recommend you do your home work and research all the building codes that apply BEFORE your knee deep in the project. In this case I I also spent a significant amount of time at the local Home Depot getting every fitting and gizmo I thought I might need before the big day. As far as how this manifold peforms...well it works a hell of a lot better than the "trunk and root" system that was here and I have the added bonus of being able to disconnect any single port I want without shutting down half or all the house. Cant say enough good things about this manifold, VERY pleased. Now, the seller...NY Direct. This thing came to my door on time and well packed! I had one missing o ring on one port from the manufacturing process and had to contact the seller. Dans e-mail response and action was lighting fast, I feel he went above and beyond to get me a simple o ring. It was impressive and this is exactly why I continue to buy from online retails like Amazon. Well played!

This product was one of the best decisions I made in renovating my house
This product was one of the best decisions I made in renovating my house. No more flushing the toilet and losing pressure, or making the hot shower go to scorching. No more joints as weak points in the crawl space. The only valves are the manifold valve then directly at the shower/tub/sink./toilet/or whatever. Because pex allows for much better expansion capabilities in freezing temps, and there are no joints under the house, leaks are extremely unlikely. This is great as temps are hitting in the negative digits here in the mountains. Worry free! The one caveat - be extremely cautious hooking your water in and also your hot water heater to the manifold. Metal and plastic fittings do not play nice if you are not careful. You can easily crossthread and ruin the manifold. Double and triple check as you start threading. EDIT - 1 Year Later: Had a rough winter up in the Mountains of North Carolina that included some frozen pipes in crawl space. No problems at all with manabloc. Freezing pipes caused no damage because there were no joints under the house. Has taken some getting used to the fact that we can flush the toilet while someone is in the shower. Love my system! Also was great to be able to shut off and drain the two outside faucets for the winter.

From Frankenstein's Monster to Beauty Queen!
I wasn't 100% sure about this system from some reviews, but I ended up hitting the JACKPOT!!! I was in the market for a new manifold system, as I had maxed out the ports on my old copper manifolds (I had three of them in service). We are about to start a bathroom addition and didn't have enough ports. Well, after months of debate between products and name brands I settled on this bad boy. Ho-ho-holy balls is this manifold system awesome! The only thing that doesn't come with this manifold are the threaded brass fittings you can find right here on Amazon. I had mis-ordered the fittings, as my supply lines are all 1" and I ordered 3/4". NBD (No Big Deal). On this particular Manabloc, I had soft water coming in at the bottom fitting, then exiting the top-right fitting over to my hot water heater. The top-left fitting is my supply from my hot water heater. I was able to apply water pressure at this point without any fixtures installed. Wonderful! One-by-one I was able to install, label, and dress-up each line as I went. I have no regrets and wonder why I waited so long to give this well-built manifold a try. I HIGHLY recommend this product, and I'm still giddy about the whole experience. ***UPDATE*** I noticed water collecting/dripping out of one of my vacant connections. Found out the valve stems are replaceable. Called Viega 800-976-9819 and they sent me replacement valve stems with the removal tool at no cost. Replaced stem and in ten minutes I was back up and running! I'm overjoyed with the interaction with Viega's warranty support.

Easy to install
Well it took me 4 years after purchase to install my system but well worth it. Other projects kept jumping in the way but once I started it was a breeze. I have it set up with a three filter whole house system which I can bypass while changing the filters and then to the water softener which I can also bypass if needed. I also added a bypass to the swamp cooler and drain line so it can be drained for the winter time. Coming back to write this review I noticed it is now 100 dollars more than when I bought mine but I would buy it after having installed mine for a 100 more than it costs now, it is that good to use. Take your time to figure out your pex runs and you will be a happy you installed this item.

Compatibility with 3/4" applience
I have this unit install about 3 years ago and I love it. I haven't have any issues with it at all, but I have a question and I couldn't find a way to contact the manufacturer. My question, maybe some one knows, if this unit will provide enough water to run a new applience that requires a 3/4" connection. The outlets allow me to make the 3/4" connection without adapters, but I don't know if it will provide enogh water to the applience. Otherwise, I'll make my conection before the Manabloc to bypass it. Thank you in advance!
