### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 33% shorter than it appears

This book injects theology into overviewing how to assemble and start using Live sound equipment for a church.  I think the author reached too far initially with Bible verses, and wound up proof texting--others readers can judge that.  There were uses of Bible verses and Greek that I thought were spot on.  In any event, this book might serve well for a lead sound tech to use personally to structure a training class for volunteers.  I was disappointed when, 66% into the book, I hit the end.  I wanted more.  I wanted some points developed more: don't just tell me what mic to not use for quartets, tell me which to use.  There were a few "new" facts in the glossary, so don't overlook that.  In reading this book, I do think that I discovered why a PC-to-mixer connection that I use isn't sounding well--and perhaps that was worth the nominal price of the ebook.
