Love this way better than the ninja creami
Product arrived as scheduled and well packaged. Somewhere I remember being mentioned that needs to sit level for 24 hours before use (booklet said 2 but I waited the 24). Made two ice creams tonight and machine worked beautifully. Every thought it was great texture and tasted great. It froze the first batch exactly as it should in the 60 minutes, and went into cooling mode as it should. Second batch actually froze in 45 minutes and machine stopped as the ice cream was too thick to allow churning. Love the recipes that came with it for suggestions and were easy to follow. I personally found the noise level to be no more than a fan gong in the room it was quieter than my air conditioner. If this machine hold up it will save us a lot of money in the long run from running to the local ice cream shop or buying from the store as I will only buy the ice creams that don't have a lot of additives in them. I look forward to making many batches of ice cream and experimenting with flavors. The first picture is at the beginning of making strawberry ice cream the second is maple walnut that has been in the freezer for 2 days and texture is fantastic and scoopable just like store bought. I did not add anything like xantham gum or any kind of additive. This machine is already a family favorite.

Highly recommended
I recently purchased this ice cream and yogurt machine, and I’m honestly blown away by how easy, fast, and efficient it is! From unboxing to my first batch of homemade frozen yogurt, the whole experience has been fantastic. Within minutes, I was making my own ice cream from scratch. It cools quickly, mixes evenly, and the texture of the final product is smooth and creamy, just like store-bought (or better!). What I love most is the *versatility*. I’ve made sorbet, frozen yogurt, and even tried a dairy-free version – all turned out amazing. Cleanup is also super easy, which makes me want to use it again and again. The design is sleek and doesn’t take up too much space on the counter. It’s also surprisingly *quiet* while operating – a big plus for me. If you're thinking about making your own desserts at home, I 100% recommend this machine. It’s fun, healthy, and totally worth it. ★★★★★

Great Ice Cream Maker.
Like a lot of people my husband and I love ice cream. Years ago we had a compressor ice cream maker and enjoyed it very much. It lasted years, however, when it died we didn’t replace it until now. This unit did not disappoint. As a matter of fact it worked well beyond our expectations. I made our first batch of ice cream with it today and we were very impressed at how fast it made the ice cream. It took only an hour for it to get to the correct consistency. I also love that it comes with a recipe book with a wide variety of recipes. We used our own recipe for our first batch but I plan on making some of the recipes for the book very soon. We are so happy that we purchased this ice cream maker. There is nothing better than homemade ice cream and the cost of making our own ice cream is less expensive than buying store bought and the taste is so much better. This machine will pay for itself in less than a year.

Easy to make the best home made ice cream ever...but the dasher has got to go!
This ice cream maker is awesome! No more bowls to freeze overnight means you can indulge anytime you're ready. I started easy with simple vanilla ice cream, no custard mixture, just cream, milk, sugar and vanilla. Incredibly delicious and fast. For my 2nd offering I made Maple Walnut, again no custard mix. Very smooth and creamy with great flavor by using Dark Maple Syrup. Each of those flavors were churned and removed to a container to go into the freezer. Today I decided to make a custard base for chocolate ice cream. After the churning stopped by itself I set the Cooling Timer to 30 minutes and let it sit. While it did a wonderful job of freezing the ice cream, it was impossible to remove the dasher from the bucket. I had to remove most of the ice cream in the bucket before I was able to remove the dasher. The booklet should tell you to remove the dasher first, then use the cooling feature. I will remember that next time. Now about that dasher! It must have been designed by a computer for maximum efficiency in churning the ice cream with absolutely no regard for the end user. It is extremely difficult to get all the ice cream off the dasher without letting it melt, resulting in a substantial waste of product. And it's even more difficult to remove frozen hard ice cream from the dasher than it is for soft serve. This is actually my only complaint. Other than that I absolutely love this machine and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to make their own ice cream with minimal ingredients and no chemical additives or artificial ingredients.

So much fun!
I bought this about a month ago and I'm having so much fun making ice cream! The machine is very easy to use, very easy to clean and works great. My only negative about it, is I hate the paddle that churns the ice cream. Its design may be the best to churn ice cream, but I feel it is so hard to get the ice cream off of it. It has weird angles and even with a spatula I feel I'm leaving so much product behind. The ice cream also starts to melt fast so I don't have a lot of time to get it off the paddle. That is my only complaint. Other than that I would highly recommend it!

Didn't work. Not impressed with Whynter customer service
We were excited to get the ice cream maker. We let it sit for several days so the refrigerant could settle, followed the instructions in their cookbook and manual, it did not freeze after its 60 minute ice cream cycle. I took the bowl with the mix in it and placed it in the freezer for several hours to get it cold wondering it that would help, ran it through another cycle, still liquid. Ran through the trouble shooting guide online, nothing helped. Called Whynter customer service and explained the problem along with everything we attempted per their guide to inquire if I was doing something wrong or if the machine was faulty. They never answered either of those questions. In the 10 minute conversation she told me to just return it to Amazon and let them deal with it 7 times. She said to keep returning it until we got one that worked properly. She explained begrudgingly that they too can replace or repair it, but preferred we just return it to Amazon. She offered advice that maybe if I made it in the morning instead of at night it might work better. Still no idea why that makes a difference, as i explained my house has climate control, aka a thermostat, and was 71 degrees at the time of operation, well within the temperature range guidelines. I asked for a ticket to be opened. Explained I wanted to get it fixed, and that I didn't feel redirecting me back to the seller to avoid responsibility isn't giving me confidence in their product. She huffed and said fine, but from here on out there would be no phone calls. Supervisors who handle repair tickets only communicate via email and she wasn't sure when the email would come. I finally got an email and they told me in it to keep my house cool or cool the mixture before using. No communication from rep to claims rep. That was it. That was the big help. As much as I wanted to have homemade ice cream for my family, it isn't worth this hassle. I returned it for a refund. Based on my experience I do not recommend the company or their product.

High quality and very quiet.
Very high quality machine. Works quietly. I made few different types of ice cream using all organic ingredients. Incredible taste!. Used recipes from my own book not from one that came with machine. Strange peticular machine about $30 cheaper then exactly same stainless steel machine. And this Mac looks great.

Awesome Maker!
We love our Whynter ice cream maker! The features are incredibly easy to use. I love how I do not have to freeze the bowl in advance. The recipes that come with this machine are on point too. Looking forward to make awesome ice cream creations!

I Love Ice cream.
Although the machine does take up a lot of counter space, it’s worth it. 😊! So easy to use, grand children love coming over and make ice cream for dessert.

Definitely an Upgrade!
I used to have a cheap ice cream maker, the one where you put the bowl in the freezer and have to wait a whole day to make ice cream and that’s if you remember to put it in. This ice cream maker is a dream! Just literally make your base, set it to ice cream and press start! We made Coconut Ice Cream. It was so good, great texture and good recipe. If you’re thinking about an ice cream maker, this one will sure not disappoint.

DUD PURCHASE
Amazon delivered the worse client experience possible. Amazon sent me a box with the machine but missing everything else: the bowl, the churner blade, and the scoop. The machine was not working. What a royal waste of time.
