Just to be clear, this package also includes a battery that is not pictured.  The mounting of the hardware was easy with online instructions very helpful from HTC.  Previous review saying the device flops around must not have been installed correctly because mine is mounted very sturdy to the Cosmos headset.  Overall it works as described.

    Don't bother.  Mounting method is unstable.

The mounting method attaches the wireless adapter to a soft strap on the top/back of the Cosmos.  The adapter subsequently flops around whenever you turn your head.  That strap can't be tightened further without it pulled the halo mount off the top of your head.
