As the day wears on I will stop what I am doing and pick up "Our Daily Bread" to reconnect with God. Before I get into the "meat" of the book I have to say it has one of the most attractive covers I have recently seen on a book. "Our Daily Bread" has gems of wisdom for each day of the year. Each day's reading can be done in about a minute. One of my best friends keeps "Our Daily Bread" in his bathroom. Each page starts out with a short piece of scripture, then has a very short story supporting the quoted scripture. The last thing on the page is a short one line saying that summarizes the daily writing. I am buying this as a "just because" gift for everyone in the office. I would be in my office late in the evening writing my most current book, "Creative Thinking for Christians"  Creative Thinking for Christians (Business With A Purpose) . I would break up the long hours by going back to reread select prior days that I had dog eared.
