Excellent product. Highly recommended
I recently purchased a 2016 Camaro 1SS and wanted to protect it and keep it shiny. I've been seeing more people starting to use ceramic coat applications and decide to give it a go. During my research, I came across the Migliore line of products and decided to give it a go as it was reasonably priced and offered a year's protection. I received the kit and spent the morning prepping the vehicle for application by doing some light paint correction and cleaning. Once I was happy with the finish, I applied the Strata coat per the directions. In 2x2 sections, I did the whole car, wiping off the excess and then buffing out the area I just applied the coat to. The effects were immediate and dramatic. As I progressed, I kept looking back and marvelling at the amazing shine I left on each section I just finished. It was a very easy process but the results were incredible. The finish is just brilliantly bright and vibrant. Truly impressive. The true test was the following day. After sitting at work all day, there was a decent layer of dust all over my car. Once back home and in the garage, I broke out the California car duster and gave it a dusting. I then followed it up with a few spritzes of detail spray and wiped down the finish. It was as clean and shiny as when I finished applying the Strata coating and had it all buffed up. Took me 10 minutes, tops. That's the kind of finish I was looking for. I'm just wondering now how long the Strata coating will last. It says a year. We shall see...

Worth its weight in gold
An absolutely amazing product, definitely worth the money. I've typed up my own experience after using this product on my SUV to include some additional tips and suggestions. If anyone from Migliore reads these reviews, PLEASE strongly consider including a dropper or pipet with each purchase of the product. After watching Migliore's instructions on how to use this product on their Youtube video, obviously it is necessary to completely wash and dry your vehicle. One thing they did not mention is that it is vital that you clay your vehicle thoroughly at every location that you intend to apply this product. After you've clayed the vehicle once, do it again. I say this for emphasis because this process is very time consuming and you don't want to have to redo it. Ensuring you have all the dirt and debris removed before beginning is vital. For an average sized vehicle, expect to spend about 3 hours working on applying the Strata coating. The next revision to instructions is do NOT simply tip the bottle upside down onto the applicator. This is not necessary and generally wasteful. Purchase an eye dropper or pipet first, put around 12-15 drops onto the applicator. I found that this amount easily covers the 2x2 section Migliore describes in their instructions, and in some cases depending on the surface and location, I was able to cover about a 2x3 section on the vehicle. You can of course vary the number of drops you use based on your comfort level and area of where you are applying the product. !!!!BONUS FEATURE!!!! The Strata coating has one feature that was not mentioned anywhere in the instructions or even discussed that I observed. Do you have plastic fenders, bumpers or parts on the vehicle that have been accidentally stained when you were applying a polish at some prior time? And then despite your best efforts of trying to wash it off, it never comes off? I had this problem and simply accepted that it was going to remain like that. Oh no!! After testing this product on the surface of one area that had been previously stained with polish, this product removed the stains instantly!! At first I thought maybe it would not last simply because it was a new application of the product and after a couple of hours would fade away, revealing the old stains yet again. NO! After leaving the vehicle in the garage overnight, the next morning I checked again and the stains are still completely gone restoring those plastic areas to look just like brand new. And all it took was an extra minute of my time to apply the product to that area. I did not even bother buffing the plastic with the cloth afterward. Once you've finished applying this product to your vehicle, you can't use the applicator again later after it's dried. What you can do however is place a microfiber cloth around the applicator and then use it on your next vehicle. But of course remember to throw away that cloth after it has dried. The end result? In the morning after the vehicle had sat overnight "curing" as they state in the video, I was presented with a vehicle that had an absolutely incredible gloss and shine to it. Just running my fingertips along the hood was like something you might only find on the most detailed show cars after hours of precise waxing by a detailer. I had to keep reminding myself that I never even put any wax on the vehicle at all. And I couldn't even see any streaks left by my fingertips as I ran them along the surface! This product is easily worth the asking price, just be prepared to spend several hours working on your vehicle in order to do it right.

Worth The Investment
As I was researching ceramic coatings, I thought this stuff must be the best thing since sliced bread, or a total rip-off. I eventually decided to take a leap of faith, and ordered the Migliore Strata Coating - mostly based on the positive reviews from other buyers. I shouldn't have worried, as the results came out better than my expectations. At the beginning, it's difficult to come to terms with spending $90 on such a small bottle of liquid. You're thinking how can such a small amount provide all the protection advertised, and on top of that, how can I cover the car with just 1oz of the stuff. When the package arrives, it's like a double shock - the box is really small, and when you open it, the actual bottle just takes up about half the space inside! But it all gets better from there. I decided to use the Strata Coating on my Jaguar F-Type to help preserve the paint finish. I read the instructions on the box, and checked out Migliore's YouTube video. Everything seemed straight forward enough. I went over the car with a clay bar to get the clearcoat as smooth as possible, and for each section I then wiped down with denatured alcohol to remove all residue just before coating. Just like the video recommended, I applied Strata to a 2ft by 2ft section after tipping the bottle into the applicator sponge. As you begin to cover the section you're working on, you can feel the applicator sponge dragging as the coating goes on over the dry clearcoat. It can be difficult to see your progress, but when the section is actually coated with Strata, the applicator motion is much smoother, and from this point you just keep working it in a horizontal and vertical pattern to get a good even coverage. Then wait for a minute, and wipe off with a clean microfiber towel. It comes off quite easily. I was a little paranoid about using all the coating up before the car was covered, particularly as I had a few "over applications" to the sponge where my lack of coordination allowed the coating to flood more of the sponge surface than I wanted. But in the end, I used just 2/3rds of the bottle contents to coat the whole car, and the whole process took just over an hour. I've read some of the more negative reviews here where buyers reported a bad finish or not enough coating, but all I can think is that their surfaces weren't entirely free of contaminants, or that the coating was over-applied. It is tempting to slather it on to get a quick, thick coating, but you really just need the small amount shown in the video, and a little patience to work it in until the area you're coating feels smooth all over as you move the applicator sponge. As far as results are concerned, you can judge for yourself from the photos I've attached. The gloss level is really high, and I think the car looks great. I've washed it since the Strata application, and a big advantage is that when you give the car an initial hose-down, a large amount of the dirt just sheets off with the water, so it makes the washing process much easier. When you do the final rinse, most of that water sheets straight off as well, so toweling effort is reduced also. So all is good so far. I look forward to the ongoing UV resistance and overall protection that the Strata Coating is advertised to provide, but this will be proven over time, so we'll wait and see. Right now, I think it's well worth the investment based on the immediate results. Oh, and one last thing - if you choose to try this, BE CAREFUL WITH THE BOTTLE!! I had a heart attack moment when I almost knocked my bottle over, and quickly realized that I could have easily been looking at a $90 puddle on the floor. I stopped and found an old baby food jar that I could sit the Strata bottle in as I was applying the coating. This greatly reduced the chances of an accident.

A Little Goes A Long Way!
Absolutely LOVE the finish on my car with this ceramic coating. Even with one coat, you can immediately feel the difference on the surface finish of your vehicle. Just running your hand along the surface it changes from squeaky clean, to super-slick. Adding a second coat makes your painted surface look even more beautiful and rich. Water beads beautifully on the finished surface, and nothing sticks - I now clean my car by wiping it with a damp cloth! Application is easy, but does take some time to do it right. A great tip I got, and will pass along: order a pipette / eye dropper to apply the solution onto the applicator. It only takes a few drops at a time to eventually cover the entire car (two coats) with just half a bottle. If you've got the time and patience, this is definitely worth the effort and saves the $1000 cost of having it done at a shop. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Great product
The application process was very easy. It took my wife and I 2.5 hours to apply after prepping the car. I am very happy with the results. Very shiny and slick. Easy to clean. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is that the small bottle does not come with any type of applicator cap and is easy to spill. Or at least it was for me. I ended up spilling the contents twice, even though I tried very hard not to do so, as I had read another review where they had also spilled the product. I ended up losing about half a bottle. Maybe being in my 70's had something to do with it! Or maybe not. I was told that the company is working on a better way to apply, so I will wait to re-order until the improvement has been completed. I will do another review in a few months when more time has elapsed and let you know how it is holding up.

Excellent Product that Delivers on its Promise!
After 2 months, this product delivers what it promises. I was skeptical, as many are, but amazed. It went on very easily on a new 2017 Levante SUV. Covered the whole car (and a bit left over). Since car was new, no paint work to correct - just washed and dried. Water sheets off the coating just like a Rain-Xd windshield. Follow up washings are a breeze too, dirt and grime roll off, and now spotting from pollen, dust etc. I am now a believer, and worth the price. Reminds me of the performance of the $800 paint treatment at a dealership. I typically wash the car weekly, and wax monthly. This should save me the latter, at least while the coating remains. I bought a second bottle for another car, and even the leather product. Can't wait to see if that works too! As an update, Iโve now coated 6 cars, with two having a second coat after 9 months. Flawless applications; very easy with great results. Water still sheets off the paint and clear front film. Also coated wheels with no brake dust residue as a result. I did my daughterโs new CR-V, and looks better than when she picked it up from the show room. Leather armor is also terrific, seals and softens. Highly recommend.

Average coating, not worth the price.
The coating worked really well for the first couple of months but it doesn't fare well with areas that have hard water(like Texas) and lots of dust. Nothing just "wiped" off like I expected and I had to a normal two bucket wash for any difference. It's a decent product but I don't think I got $90 worth...there are cheaper coatings that are as much or more effective than this that I will be considering in the future. Also the glossy I experienced wasn't nearly as shiny as I expected in spite of me spending 2 days doing a complete paint decontamination and paint correction.

Great Product!
I have been looking for a ceramic sealant for my clients vehicles that is cost effective and easy to apply. As a professional detailer, I like to have options for my clients and this is definitely a great choice. The application process is very simple and buffs to a great shine. It is important to find the sweet spot for your temperature. I found in 75 degree temperatures I could level and buff the coating within about 60-90 seconds. If you wait too long, you wont get the crystal clear finish you are looking for. As with any detailing project the results are all in the prep work. I like to use Meguiar's M105 Compound and follow up with M205 Polish for a really nice finish. I used Isopropyl alcohol diluted with water to clean off any remaining residue prior to coating. I recommend doing this once over the entire car and then wipe down each panel one more time just before applying the coating. Working from the top of the car down and applying the horizontal panels like the roof, hood and trunk first. The finish really is amazing and my client was definitely impressed. I cant speak yet to the longevity of the product, but if it lasts the stated 12 months, my client will be thrilled. Time will tell. Give this a try, spend the time on your prep work and you will have great results! Immaculate Auto Detailing-Las Vegas

Amazing shine and product
I have been detailing cars for years and if I'm honest I wanted a product that gives an amazing shine and water beads and sheets of the car really well, this product really delivered. the shine was amazing and I'm a week in after first applying the product and I only wash the car with water and a wash mitt as the dirt washes of with ease. Remember to put in the preparation before applying. This product won't stop the car getting dirty but it will make life so easy when cleaning and gives an amazing long lasting shine. Highly recommend this product

did not live up to my expectations
I had read the reviews for this product and was very excited to try it out as I was looking for a product that would keep my BMW X5 looking freshly polished. I had done all the 3 step prep cutting, buffing and polishing to get the finish looking flawless. A day after I had finished all that work my neighbour was having an exterior wall painted and with white paint and hundreds of tiny white paint specs were ALL over my vehicle. I then took it to one of the most respected detailers in the city and they did another 3 step cutting buffing and polishing (3 guys for 6.5 hrs) getting the paint flawless. So there wasn't a hairline scratch to be found anywhere on my vehicle. I put the car in our heated shop and it sat overnight and I applied the Strata exactly as instructed. Very impressed with how easily it went on but I didn't notice any miraculous transformation in gloss or shine, I mean the thing already looked flawless so I wasn't necessarily expecting to be blown away by the change but I kind of expected a bit of a bump in gloss. I let the car sit in the heated shop for another 12hrs after the application to cure. The hydrophobic properties were quite impressive as it rained the first drive I had it out. I got very dirty so I took it to a manual wash with my microfiber mit and washed it carefully by hand and was impressed with how easy it was to clean. Fast forward about a month and its been touchless washed about 3 times and I've used mcguiers ultimate detailing spray and grigots garage detailing spray in between washes to keep the car always looking its best. I even applied a coat of mcquiers yellow wax on top to add to the protection and gloss. I have to say I'm a bit dissapointed in the products ability to prevent swirl marks or hairline scratches given that its been only touchless washed and detail sprayed using only new microfiber towels. For the price which I find extremely high in Canadian (79 would be more appropriate but $135 is a lot for a coating and therefore I'd expect it to really really impress me. The hairline scratches became so noticable that I re polished the hood and applied a competitor coating that cost me $69 at Canadian Tire so we will see how that compares and holds up to this. I really wanted to be blown away as so many others had said, however after a month to have its hydrophobic properties noticeably reduced (it beads but it does not just roll off like it did at first, I haven't noticed that I've needed to clean it any less and the presence of hairline scratches and swirl marks that simply weren't there when it was applied have me left feeling I didn't get my $135 bucks worth. I'll try to remember to give an update in a month after I applied the cheaper competitor product to do a fair comparison, If the manufacturer wants to discuss the matter with me I would be willing to try redoing the job if they want to send me another bottle of the coating but I definitely would not spend another $135 bucks myself and look for other products instead.

Not worth the money
The product is ok at best does NOT worth the $130 price tag. I bought it because the glowing reviews but I think they might have tricked me because Amazon removed all the good reviews now.
