After more than 19 years I've never been satisfied with the speaker volume control. The amp can control balance on each stereo pair but there's no fade like our cars have so I've aways heard one set as louder than the other and that changes every time I change position. I wired this unit up with one speaker per zone so I now have an individual volume control for each speaker. This unit was designed to individually control up to four pairs of stereo speakers so I'm very pleased it can handle indivuals too.
