I recently down graded to just one sub with this same amp in a Q-bomb box and wired the sub down to 1 ohm which I should have known better knowing my tendencies to blast my music anyway smelled smoke, and thankfully was was able to rescue my sub so keep in mind that this is a powerful amp make sure you have the SPL HCCA if you plan on wiring a single sub to 1 ohm or just be more mindful. GREAT AMP!!! Review: It's power hungry so big 3 is a must - I love it. It puts out 6,500w rms at 0.5 at 13.5v but I only needed 4k rms to my subs by i turned it up to 4500w rms.
