Will lots of lint/fuzz come out of the towel after wash?

No as they are not really fluffy more like yoga mat towel material.

550gsm, It's not super thick but it feels plush

Are they durable for the beach？

They are not like yoga mat towel material, pretty thin but they do absorb water fairly well. I have only used them at the pool.

Are these towels terry cotton? I do not like velour towels.

These are Terry, and pretty absorbent! I like them so much that I now have six. I like them lots. If they're monitoring...please make a darker blue, also
