The instructions were hard for her to follow so she jumped on youtube and found several easy to follow videos. Right away my 8 year old started making the headband and she finished within a couple hours. She loved that she was able to use it with ease and that the directions were very clear. It has storage for everything you need, which I love. The charms that come with it aren't much, but they are fine for something to start with.
