Most of the SD card would stick out, so I needed a low profile adapter to be able to keep cards in without worrying about them breaking off in a bag or something. This adapter does the job. I'm using it in a Lenovo Flex 5 (Ryzen 4000) and the adapter sticks out about 2mm, which is actually good because it's just enough to get my fingernail into the grip to pull it out. The adapter is not spring-loaded, so if it fit flush it would never have come back out! As you can see in the picture, 2mm is not enough where I'm worried about it ever catching on something and breaking, nor is it ugly to look at, so I'm quite satisfied. I've had no issues running this for a couple of months now, in a Windows 10 x64 machine, using both a 64GB and 256GB card. Speed seems good, getting 90/60 on both, so nothing bad to report there either.
