This item is of such poor quality, I don’t know how it got good ratings. I am kicking myself for trusting them.The base bracket isn’t the right length so you can use the predrilled holes. The predrilled holes don’t match up to the power unit. The desk is crappy particle board with a plastic cover that looks cheap. It takes 2 people to assemble and looks horrible. When putting together i did encounter one bump with one of the parts because it did not seem to match the holes so I couldnt screw, so immediatly I thought of the amazon review I had read prior to buying- I thought this was what they meant regarding pre existing holes. I contacted the company and send pics n they got back to me quickly n told me I had it backwards, whiche I did. So anyhow other then that it was easy to put it together.
