The colors are green when hot and dark red when cold. Really great advantage in the Ohio area as many fish like green and red colors. One side is square do you can put the hook in easy.

My father always says that lures are meant to catch fishermen more than fish. This seems like a pretty useless gimmick.These don't sink so you'll need a weighted rig to put them on the bottom. Not great for unweighted wacky rigging (just stick with Senko) but would be fine for a drop shot or something like Carolina rigs. I haven't tried them Texas rigged or Neko, but assume they'd work like any other worm.And they do work. I caught a decent largemouth with one the other day (shaky head rigged). Again, I don't think the magical color changing does a darn thing...it's just a worm to fish. Put it in front of their nose and they will probably bite it.I bought these on a lark.

I bought these on the hope of possibly catching more bass. Well, I wasn't disappointed. They worked just as well as my sinko's and of course they were much more durable as well. My only regret was that I didn't order enough of them. I ended up losing a bunch of them from being hung up in rocks and underwater structure. My fault of course. I really love these lures... they work exactly as stated. My only complaint is that I ordered the gifted grubs which states that they are 3" but when they came they are only 2" .... which for me is not a big deal but maybe a problem for others.

I first found these in a Mystery tackle box, and they’ve quickly became my go to. They really change color drastically, especially when it’s hot out. I’ve went through a lot of these because bass tear em up every time

I must say, these soft plastic lures are pretty cool! Did the color changing test and it worked out well! Now it’s time to test the waters and catch some fish.. be back later with an update!

The colour did not change when I fish it in salt water in Singapore. The good thing is the stomach area can open up like sandwich and i can apply fish attractant like applying jam to bread. Have not caught anything with this lure.

I am giving this 5 stars because I caught multiple fish with it, both in heavilypressured lakes and some not many people go to. The color change is pretty cool, must do something to get bites. My only poor feedback is I wish it had more wiggle action on the drop, like a Senko has.

Fishing lures for Bass Fishing of this type tend to work best for us with the morning hours. The sun streaming and hitting the water with the use of this lure has been very good.

Love these baits, but more importantly so do the bass! Along with the color change I love the movement of the lures and for a soft bait they are pretty rugged and hold up through multiple fish .I've already ordered more.

Just got the Brainy Bugger in a few days ago.The SmartBaits dose change color just like they said. I was only able to fish with it for a hour but I did catch to LG Mouth Bass off of the Brainy Bugger. Looking forward to get out and trying them again.

Nice feel, good on the hook & they definitely change colors in different water. Worth taking a chance on them.

Saw the hype, bought it. Used it last night threw about 20 casts and got two. 1lb bass, and the best of summer for me, 4.21lb. I say it works fantastic lol

They definitely work well for catching bass but they only catch one or two fish before you need to put a new one on. GREAT bait though will buy more

It's a fact. Bass respond to color. Catch one on these lures and it will help you choose what else in your tackle box you should be throwing. I can't wait for the rest of my order to arrive.
