The hematite cats eye earrings dangle nicely and feel comfortably light in your ears. Hematite is a nice smooth black/gray stone that is known for its grounding properties, as it is one of the root chakras. I keep all different types of crystals around my house for their healing properties. I am also a massage therapist and use essential oils on a daily basis. I try to use as many all natural products as I can as we put enough toxins in and on our body on a daily basis. Anytime you have the opportunity to wear crystals on your body I recommend doing just that. Their healing properties can help you subtly with any ailments you may have...or even just to help you through your stressful day! Each Crystal or stone has their individual healing properties (or resonant frequency that is attuned to the earth) so make sure you do your research to see which ones are best suited for you. Some days I wear lapis lazuli, some days I wear rose quartz, or some days I wear the colors of all seven chakras. It depends on my mood and it depends on what I have to do for the day. Once again, if you do your research, you will begin to know which stone, crystal or essential oil, does what and how they affect your body. These earrings can compliment any outfit as well as enhance the properties of any other crystals or stones on or around your body.The only thing that I did not like about this purchase was the packaging. They came in a little baggie, with little protection. I feel that for the price, they could've been placed in a small pouch or even a box. Not a major deal, however it would've been nice to have more protection for such a nice set of earrings. I don't wear drop earrings often and wanted a pair that were subtle, not flashy. These hit the mark perfectly. They are made of quality material and sturdy without being heavy. The drop bangle is delicate looking and small (as I hoped it would be). The photo attached to this review gives you a good idea of the size and length of the earring. The color is a smoky dark grey/black and very versatile.
