For the price I didn't think these scissors would be that good but they cut really well and are so easy to use. I have big hands so I contacted the company for more information. The teacher has been saying he was too young, but we all believed it was problems due to his seizures. With no help coming from the school or his doctors who have a wait and see if it works out approach, I turned to the Internet and was pointed to these scissors. yesterday was the first time my nephew could not only do his homework, but he actually looked forward to it. He kept exclaiming that the scissors were just his size and now he can cut straight. I was so hopefully when I found these and I will say she definitely prefers them however I really wish the handle was a bit thicker. Although for some kids I'm sure these are perfect! My daughter just couldn't quite keep these stable in her hands. They are definitely a huge step up from regular scissors but I'll have to keep searching for the perfect pair for her.I should also say they were easy to use as far as how much strength is needed.
